    Elektra Natchios, usually referred to only by her first name , is a fictional character in publications from Marvel Comics.     is an American comic book series published by DC Comics under their Vertigo imprint. The stories are fictional but set in and around historical events during the Viking Age. Northlanders is written by Brian Wood, illustrated by various artists on a per storyline basis with painted cover art by Massimo Carnevale. The first issue of the series was published on December 5, 2007. In a break from the series' multi-part story arc format, Issue 17, entitled "The Viking Art of Single Combat" is a self-contained single issue. It is one of the best comic stories I have read in a long time--it may be the best comic story for this year. Warren Ellis calls it "incredibly good." If there is one comic book you plan to buy, get this one.

The series was canceled with that issue, but response to the character was so positive that a solo title, , was launched with a March 1963 cover-date. is the character's flagship series.     is a DC Comics superhero team, with, as the group's name suggests, its membership composed of teenaged superheroes. The first incarnation of the team unofficially debuted in (1964) as a "junior Justice League" featuring Robin (Dick Grayson), Kid Flash (Wally West), and Aqualad, the sidekicks of Leaguers Batman, the Flash, and Aquaman, respectively. The group then made its first appearance under the name "Teen Titans" in The , joined by Wonder Girl (Donna Troy), the younger sister of Wonder Woman. Green Arrow's sidekick Speedy (Roy Harper) later took Aqualad's place in the lineup. This current series, with mostly new teenaged superheroes, began in September 2003.
