A long-standing duo, Jérémy Jouve and Pierre Fouchenneret offer us for this concert dedicated to the release of their first opus "Impressions d'Espagne" a journey to the heart of the intimacy of sound, conducive to reverie, and a testimony of their musical symbiosis. With the same voice, in the same breath, they deliver to us virtuoso, rich and poetic pages, written by Spanish composers dreaming of Paris, capital of the Arts, and keeping in their hearts Spain, its colors, its dances and its songs. Come celebrate with us the release of this new album around Albéniz, De Falla, Mompou, Sarasate, Tárrega and immerse yourself in Paris at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century!

RUNDMO is a Nordic jazz trio from Trondheim that plays self-composed music with elements of Nordic folk music. With its unique line-up, the band explores a lyrical soundscape, resulting in descriptive and melancholic expressions. The music is varied and can be reminiscent of everything from a soulful walk in the woods to something more rough and mysterious. This spring, the trio will release their new album "Jazz på Madrass". The album takes inspiration from the bedroom, where different types of dreams and sleep are the inspiration behind the music. The album will be released on 1 March 2024 and this is the first concert with the music.

A Salty Dog is the third studio album by English progressive rock band Procol Harum, released in 1969. The album has an ostensibly nautical theme, as indicated by its cover (a pastiche of the famous Player's Navy Cut cigarette pack). Interspersed with straight rock, blues and pop items, A Salty Dog showed a slight change of direction from its predecessors, being thematically less obscure. The title track itself was the first Procol track to use an orchestra.

People, Hell & Angels is a new album of twelve never before released Jimi Hendrix studio recordings. This special album showcases the legendary guitarist working outside of the original Jimi Hendrix Experience trio. Beginning in 1968, Jimi Hendrix grew restless, eager to develop new material with old friends and new ensembles. Outside the view of a massive audience that had established the Experience as rock’s largest grossing concert act and simultaneously placed two of his albums together in the US Top 10 sales chart, Jimi was busy working behind the scenes to craft his next musical statement.

For their third recording for label Stradivarius, the duo singer & fischer have chosen to devote themselves to four Hispanic flavored works. With little original repertoire ­ despite the opuses that various composers have written for them in recent years ­ transcriptions, arrangements and other adaptations are usual in the ensemble’s work. However, not all works are easy to adapt, and the choice of pieces from among the ‘possibilities’ is often a difficult one. The transcriptions on this recording are the result of a process of reflection that goes back to the duo’s genesis. Their first attempts at De Falla or Granados took place in the 90s, a time when the youthfulness of the performerscertainly contributed to the enthusiasm essential to any musical interpretation, but when a lack of experience was abrake on any idea of immortalizing their concert attempts.

The debut album called ‘Blood Red Sun‘ by the Texan trio Elevenwire, consisting of brothers Ron Hughes (vocals, guitar, bass) and Jonathan Hughes (vocals, keyboards), together with Jim Armstrong (guitar, vocals) and the participation of Eric Gillette (NEAL MORSE BAND, TEMIC, etc.) on drums.

Gregor Meyer, director of the GewandhausChor, fulfills a dream by returning to "his" instrument, the organ, and recording an album at Genuin that gathers sounds from Saxon organs of an organ-building dynasty: the Kreutzbach family from Borna. Meyer plays organs from three eras, taking us through Saxony from Johanngeorgenstadt to Wiederau and Zwickau-Marienthal. Meyer's organ playing utilizes the full range of the highly characteristic and historically valuable organs to faithfully and differentially portray music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Böhm, and Max Reger. A must for lovers of historical, regionally anchored organ craftsmanship!

From the Earth to the stars, from darkness to light: the young, award-winning pianist Andrey Denisenko, acclaimed in Germany and Russia, has compiled significant works of literature for his new Genuin CD. The creators of Robert Schumann's "Kreisleriana", Johannes Brahms' late Fantasies, and the master Johann Sebastian Bach's magnificent "Chaconne" for the violin (arranged by Brahms) transformed suffering and deprivation into musical gems. These works demand not only a technically outstanding pianist but also an artist who thinks and breathes in grand structures. Andrey Denisenko possesses both qualities and plays these masterpieces with verve and excellent clarity.

Recorded in the Autumn of 1975 at Abbey Road studios (with some sessions also taking place at AIR studios in London), SUNBURST FINISH was the third album by Be Bop Deluxe and the first to feature the line-up of BILL NELSON (vocals, guitars, keyboards), CHARLIE TUMAHAI (bass, vocals), ANDY CLARK (keyboards) and SIMON FOX (drums). It was also the first Be-Bop album to be co-produced by BILL NELSON and JOHN LECKIE. An album of immense musical inventiveness and creativity, SUNBURST FINISH was one of the finest albums of its era, a perfect cohesion of ten classic songs written by Bill Nelson and a stylised and striking artwork package.

Since its original release, Jochum's performance has consistently been a prime recommendation for this much-recorded piece, listening to it again in the superbly remastered sound, one can easily hear why. He pays great attention to detail - particularly with regard to tempo and articulation - yet the performance as a whole has a tremendous cogent sweep and the choruses have terrifiс power. The more reflective sections are not neglected, however, and movements such as "Stetit Puella", with Janowitz sounding alluring and fey, have surely never been more sensitively handled. Stolze is ideal as the roasted swan and Fischer-Dieskau encompasses the very varied requirements of the baritone's music with ease. In spite of the presence of more than 30 rivals in the catalogue, this distinguished performance, authorized by the composer and now sounding better than ever, easily retains its place at the head of the queue.

The countless musicians participating in the performance of magnificent baroque music produced an unprecedented variety already around 1650. The same is the case on this album - with the placement of the soloists, instrumentalists, and choirs in different positions in recording space.
