Inspired by the American poet Edgar Allan Poe (1809–1849), the symphonic poem The Bells was written in 1913. Its four parts describe different features of bell ringing: children’s sleigh bells in the first section, the wedding bells of a young couple in the second, alarm bells for a misfortune in the third, and mourning bells in the fourth.

Singer-songwriter and music producer William Fitzsimmons’ latest record, Mission Bell, is a chronicling of the tumultuous last year of his life, particularly of the separation from his second wife.

Long-running cinematic rock band Caspian don't want you to call their fifth album On Circles a "redemption," a "comeback," a "rise from the ashes," or any of the other sentiments that emerge when bands return from nearly five years of silence. Instead, this majestic collision of post-rock, metal, shoegaze, electronics, noise and ambient music is an existential meditation, an acceptance of the cyclical nature of both life and career. Theodosius Kaskamanidis (aka Saki Kaskas) was born in Germany in 1971 and was transported to Vancouver, Canada in 1973. He decided to make music his career in 1987, when he started to learn how to play the guitar. He was 15 years old.

Although he initially learned to play the piano and violin, at the age of 13, fascinated by the sound of the organ, he began learning to play this instrument. He studied music in Kraków under the guidance of Prof. Józef Serafin. Arkadiusz Bialic is the first Polish winner of the prestigious Grand Prix de Chartres.
