Bad Company is an English hard rock supergroup founded in 1973, consisting of band members from Free (Paul Rodgers, Simon Kirke), Mott the Hoople (Mick Ralphs), and King Crimson (Boz Burrell). Bad Company enjoyed great success throughout the 1970s. They were managed by Peter Grant, who had also guided Led Zeppelin to massive success.

In each of these trios, Telemann prescribes a different instrumentation. He forms six entirely individual instrumentations consisting of four wind instruments, four stringed instruments, and continuo.

A native of New York, Biz (born Marcel Hall) first came to prominence in the early '80s, when he began rapping at Manhattan nightclubs like the Funhouse and the Roxy. Biz met producer Marley Marl in 1985, and began working as a human beatbox for Marl-connected acts MC Shan and, later, Roxanne Shanté.

Themselves are a musical duo made up of rapper Doseone (Adam Drucker) and producer Jel (Jeff Logan). Dax Pierson, or Dax, has also played keyboards, though he is not an official member. To date, they have released three full-length albums and two singles on the anticon. label, as well as being featured on multiple compilations.

Much of Kagel's music has an element of the intelectual strip-show, which ultimately turns out to be more like a Vesalian anatomy lesson: if the reductio is not necessarily ad absurdum, it is nonetheless drastic, and seems to invite discussion. But this is precisely what is forbidden by the ritual of the concert performance, whose rules are: first presentation, then immediately judgement (applause, or some less favourable alternative).
