This album contains one great track after another but even if it only had 'Our Song' alone on it then it would be still worth buying. This track absolutely rocks like nobody's business. It is easily equal to the classic tracks of the Rock behemoths of the era with which we are all familiar. I recall hearing it for the first time in the early eighties. It was on tape and I virtually wore it thin playing the opening track over and over again. It is a masterpiece of riffing, intelligent lyrics and soaring guitars played by (apparent) giants!

Hot Wacks is unquestionably the Wackers best album. Although at times a bit derivative of Abbey Road era Beatles (there’s even a side 2 suite), Hot Wacks is really a lost power pop gem.

Michelle Young's qualities may be unknown to many of you, although she already presented herself with Glasshammer, the Leonardo-project (in duet with Steve Walsh) and her first album Song of the Siren (1996). Michelle also contributed to DPRP's The Vision Pit.
With Marked for Madness, however, she presents herself very clearly to the prog-scene. This album is the result of the collaboration with Clive Nolan, who was responsible for keyboards, arrangements and production, with Karl Groom engineering.

On their second album, Harmonium had expanded from a trio to a five-piece as they were joined by keyboardist Serge Locat and Pierre Daigneault who handled various wind instruments, including flute, clarinet and saxophone. This time there were actually no drums around at all, but you won't probably give it a thought at all when you're listening to the rich and progressive sound of "Si On Avait Besoin d'une Cinquième Saison" that had a concept based around the different seasons of the year. And before anyone start arguing that an old Italian used the same concept exactly 250 years earlier: Harmonium added their own twist by including a mysterious fifth season. This imaginary season was represented by the fantastic 17-minute "Histories Sans Paroles".
