    The first album issued by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band after they had temporarily disbanded in 1969, this greatly expanded their pop audience, due primarily to the Top 10 hit cover of Jerry Jeff Walker's "Mr. Bojangles" (which actually wasn't a hit until early 1971). The group moved into a more accessible rock-oriented fusion of country, bluegrass, pop, and rock & roll, relying primarily on smartly chosen covers of tunes by the likes of Walker, Mike Nesmith, Randy Newman, and Kenny Loggins.

    The soundtrack by American 3D computer-animated musical comedy film Trolls was released on September 23rd via RCA Records. The film is based on the Troll dolls by Thomas Dam, and was produced by DreamWorks Animation, it is being directed by Mike Mitchell, with Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake providing the voices of the main characters. It’s scheduled to be released on November 4th. “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” performed by Justin Timberlake was released as the soundtracks lead single on May 6th. During an interview with Ryan Seacreast, Timberlake confirmed that he and Max Martin co-wrote a song for Ariana Grande and other for Gwen Stefani for the soundtrack. Anna Kendrick and Timberlake’s rendition of country music classic “True Colors“, originally performed by Cindy Lauper was released as instant grat along the pre-order of the album on September 16th.
