This is an excellent EU released 3cd set of George Baker Selection. Many of you are familiar with their biggest hit, "Little Green Bag".

Hailing from the remote island of Tasmania, Psycroptic have progressively carved a niche of their own within today's overcrowded metal scene. Staying clear of trends, the band incorporate many elements of music – extreme and otherwise - to capture a sound that is uniquely their own. Not to be pigeonholed, Psycroptic stand apart from the horde and add a fresh element in the extreme metal realm with their precise blend of brutality, intensity and groove.
This unique release is built around main title track Deep Forest, which is actually a pre-WMRI track made by other member Alex Ilin. It was covered with dust for 3 years after recording and first issued only in 2006. It later remained in shadow of more popular Voices of Space and didn't get proper spread. Now it's a really precious gem with ageing more than eight years, but still sounding fresh and impressive. To be more alluring it is supported by other tracks of Alex recorded jointly with Mike Winchester. This is absolutely different look at WMRI music.

This superb 3 CD set was originally released by Doberman, who professionally manufactured the inserts & booklets. With the original issued package, the discs were CD-r's with very nice paper labels. Doberman had released only glass mastered titles in the past, and some of their newest releases are once again appearing on glass mastered CDs. The three CDs were then pressed by the wonderful people at Scorpio, who released them on 24kt gold discs.

"Cavatina" is a classical guitar piece by Stanley Myers and the theme from The Deer Hunter. Following the release of The Deer Hunter in 1978, Williams' instrumental version of "Cavatina" became a UK Top 20 hit. Two other versions also made the Top 20 the same year - another instrumental recording by The Shadows, with an electric guitar played by Hank Marvin, released on their album String of Hits with the name "Theme from The Deer Hunter".
"Fishmoon" is a score 'for the inner-mind' of such intensity that the pictures that are not here long ago remain blurry but transcendent and color snapshots. The only thing flickers is the almost tangible heat. Guitarist Axel Heilhecker worked on projects like Holo Syndrome, Sunya Beat, Phonoroid and collaborated with musicians of Ash Ra Tempel. Fishmoon is his first solo album, although on a few tracks he gets a helping hand from Steve Baltes (Sunya Beat, Ashra), producer/composer Helmut Zerlett and Bertil Mark. Fishmoon is a fully instrumental album, centered around Axel's guitar play, which is accompanied by bass, keyboards and percussion.
