Frontiers Records will release ROYAL HUNT's 11th studio album, "Show Me How To Live", on November 29 in North America and December 2 in Europe.ROYAL HUNT was recently rejoined by D.C. Cooper, the American singer that performed on the band's two most successful releases in the '90s: "Moving Target" and the concept album "Paradox"."Show Me How to Live" is described in a press release as "highly melodic with rich, lush arrangements and stellar production" and certain to "please the fans of neoclassical yet progressive music."

Keldulandid is an album of two members of Mezzoforte - Oskar and Eythor, released in honor of Jon Muli. Although the album is not in the band style, it shows the high class of the both musicians. Keldulandid is released only in Iceland.

Tyrant Eyes is a metal band from Mörlenbach, Hessen, Germany, formed in 1993.

A happening. Not that these two heavyweight reedsmen had never shared a stage, but this was going to be a face-off, a clash between two of the hardest-working free improv trios on the circuit. On the left side of the stage: Evan Parker, with drummer Paul Lytton and pianist Alex von Schlippenbach, the latter filling in for bassist Barry Guy. On the right side: Peter Brötzmann and his trusty rhythm section, bassist William Parker and drummer Hamid Drake. These are two highly experienced and gifted trios, with different approaches (complementary ones, some will say).

The Pasadena Roof Orchestra has performed all over the world since the early 70s, playing the dance tunes of the 30s and 40s in the original style and within the original great sound. They are joined here by singing trio The Swing Sisters for a feast of nostalgic singalong melodies, so sit back and enjoy some good music as it used to be played.

George Russell has been an important and innovative contributor to contemporary jazz ever since he wrote for Dizzy Gillespie's first Carnegie Hall concert in the Forties. He remains a most highly regarded composer, bandleader, and theoretician (the "Lydian" concept) both in the United States and in Europe, where he lived and worked for a number of years. In the Sixties, he formed a unique small group that rather amazingly combined "outside" experimentation and firmly-rooted funk (the personnel included, at times, Eric Dolphy and Don Ellis). The aptly-named Stratusphunk was the first of his four albums for Riverside; in addition to some notable Russell compositions, it features an early work by Carla Bley.

Christmas Album is the sixth studio album by Boney M.. It was recorded in the summer of 1981 and released on 23 November 1981.

Because it was recorded between two of Wes Montgomery's best-known albums (Incredible Jazz Guitar and So Much Guitar), this particular CD is a bit underrated. The great guitarist is teamed with flutist James Clay (who switches to tenor on Wes' "So Do It!"), pianist Victor Feldman, bassist Sam Jones, and drummer Louis Hayes for four standards (highlighted by Clifford Brown's "Sandu" and "Body and Soul"), Sam Jones' "Says You," and two Montgomery originals. The reissue also adds a pair of alternate takes to the fine program. Wes Montgomery made many of his finest jazz recordings originally for Riverside, and this is an often overlooked gem.
