Happy Hour, released in 1982, is a prime example of the sounds and styles he’d now fully adapted. Sweet and slick, Happy Hour hinges on the upbeat sounds of early-’80s pop, leaving his prior success with disco present but lurking in the background.Motion: released in 1984, is an electronic affair. Deodato fully engaged the keyboard-drenched production of the 1980s and it is in full flower here, with Linn and DMX drums programmed all over the place to further enhance the multiple layers of synthesizers that coat every cut.

Reissued in this two-CD set are all of the recordings from the first Cannonball Adderley Quintet, a group that despite its talents failed commercially. With Cannonball on alto, cornetist Nat Adderley, pianist Junior Mance, bassist Sam Jones, and drummer Jimmy Cobb, it is surprising that the group did not make it, but the Adderleys were fairly unknown at the time.

This CD (a straight reissue of the original LP) features a rather notable pianoless combo: vibraphonist Milt Jackson, guitarist Joe Pass, and bassist Ray Brown. These three masterful players recorded together in many settings during the Pablo years, but only this once as a trio. The colorful repertoire (which ranges from "The Pink Panther" and "Blue Bossa" to "Nuages" and "Come Sunday") acts as a device for the musicians to construct some brilliant bop-based solos.

Electric Chubbyland: Popa Chubby Plays Jimi Hendrix is a live and studio album by Popa Chubby recorded in tribute to Jimi Hendrix. The concert part was recorded in Middletown, New York at the Corner Stage, February 10-11, 2006. The studio part, recorded in 2006 at the Serpentine Studio in Central Valley, includes "San Catri", an instrumental piece written by Popa Chubby in the style of Jimi Hendrix. The album was re-released in 2007 by Blind Pig Records. It includes "Fire" in place of "Hey Joe".

Album LP, originally recorded in 1961 and released in Spain in 1972, which is a rare piece today very difficult to locate. Is performed by the Band of the Auxiliary Military Academy, under the baton of Commander Ricardo Dorado and brings a lot of sixteen splendid pasodobles, recorded live recreating the atmosphere of a bullfight. And that environment, with trumpets sounding and drums, thick with applause, murmurs, shouts and cheers of the audience, provides a framework and vehicle for the 'torera' music provided by the LP.

These 2 shows by the Jarrett trio filmed live in Tokyo in 1993 and 1996. The material was previously released as single DVDs but has been now out of print for several years. The discs were originally issued, separately, as Live At Open Theater East 1993 and Trio Concert 1996. The 1993 set is an open air concert that tackles a large slice of jazz history from "Basin Street Blues" to Sonny Rollins' "Oleo", Jarrett's own "The Cure" and much more. The 1996 date is the filmed footage that corresponds to the trio's "Tokyo '96" CD but adds extra material.
