An expressionistic work, consisting almost exclusively of strange, unearthly sounds. Ring modulators, noise and weird LFO effects are unleashed in wide stereo spaces. The album is often referred to as anti-commercial, because of its non melodic - even consonant - nature. This caused speculation that perhaps Vangelis submitted these recordings as his final RCA album to get rid of his contract. Vangelis however spoke with great affection about this piece in several interviews and his engineer says Vangelis took it very seriously, while recording it.

Don't Go to Strangers was Etta Jones' first album for the independent jazz label Prestige when it was released in 1960 (having been recorded in a single session on June 21 of that year), and although Jones had been releasing records since 1944, including a dozen sides for RCA in 1946 and an album for King Records in 1957, she was treated as an overnight sensation when the title tune from the album went gold, hitting the Top 40 on the pop charts and reaching number five on the R&B charts.

Le martyre de Saint Sébastien, L 124 is a musical work by the French composer Claude Debussy. Written in 1911, the work—a five-act musical mystery play on the subject of Saint Sebastian – was produced in collaboration with Gabriele d'Annunzio (at that time living in France to escape his creditors) and designed as a vehicle for Ida Rubinstein. Debussy's contribution was a large-scale score of incidental music for orchestra and chorus, with solo vocal parts (for a soprano and two altos). Greek/German heavy metallers MYSTIC PROPHECY release their seventh album, "Raven Lord", on November 25 via Massacre Records. The CD is being recorded at Prophecy Music Factory studios with singer/producer Roberto Dimitri Liapakis (MYSTIC PROPHECY, SUICIDAL ANGELS, VALLEY'S EVE, INSIDEAD) and will be mixed by Fredrik Nordström (DIMMU BORGIR, ARCH ENEMY, IN FLAMES). The effort will mark the recording debut of the band's new drummer, Claudio Sisto, who joined MYSTIC PROPHECY in June 2010. The artwork will be created by Jonas Kawalek, who previously with the group on their fifth album, "Satanic Curses".
