The follow-up to 2009's "Breathing The Fire" was recorded at a Los Angeles studio with producer Matt Hyde (SLAYER, MACHINE HEAD, KREATOR). This album is a collaboration between vibraphonist Stefon Harris, trumpeter Christian Scott, and tenor saxophonist David Sanchez, recorded in Havana with Cuban musicians, including pianists Rember Duharte and Harold Lуpez-Nussa. It's not a Latin jazz album, though; these guys are primarily interested in moving classic hard bop into the future with infusions of hip-hop sensibility and groove, and that aesthetic permeates Ninety Miles, though there are occasional keyboard montunos and plenty of conga-driven rhythms to be heard, particularly on the album's peak, the hard Afro-Cuban/New Orleans funk workout "Congo."

"Stratosfear" is an electronic music album released in 1976 by Tangerine Dream. It marks the beginning of the band's development away from their uncompromising early 1970s synthesizer experiments toward a recognizably more melodic sound, a trend they would pick up again in 1979's "Force Majeure". The title track "Stratosfear" has been played live many times and has been released in a re-mixed form on a number of other albums.

It could be assumed that Archie Bell & the Drells essentially did the same thing over and over again, since "Tighten Up" almost consigns them to the level of one-hit wonders, but that's not an accurate assessment of their gifts. True, they often followed the same stylish, sunny, utterly infectious sound, but there was a lot more depth and variety there, as Rhino's terrific 20-track collection Tightening It Up: The Best of Archie Bell & the Drells illustrates.

These two 1960 releases offer an ingenious mixture–swinging Latin rhythms popular in the late '50s and early '60s, and the rhythmical perfection of Peggy Lee. When these songs were recorded, Lee was already the toast of the world. Having proved herself early on in the Benny Goodman orchestra she then started writing her own songs, raked in hit after hit, and became a celebrated actress. It seems appropriate that the selection of songs from "Ole Ala Lee!" should be favorites from the musical theater.

If you are somewhat more intensively with the Hamburg blues band, so you will notice that they often longer need something, until a new sound is born of the world.
Good thing will have just while, and so far the wait was worth whatever, what was the group especially for the excellent live-album, with a real highlight of the sound produced, as well as the musical quality managed the band. Why so good old habits differ from? But with the current CD "Mad Dog Blues", there were really good reasons for the delay of release date….
