Forefather is the creation of brothers Athelstan and Wulfstan, begun in Surrey, England in 1997. With influences drawn from across the metal spectrum, from Iron Maiden to Burzum, Forefather’s music doesn’t fit easily in any particular sub-genre, but many people find the pagan metal tag most appropriate. Whereas many Scandinavian bands are guided lyrically by their Viking heritage, Forefather frequently look to England’s Anglo-Saxon roots for inspiration. With six albums under their belt, including the most recent effort “Last of the Line”, Forefather have gained the respect and recognition of many critics and fans whilst carving a distinctive niche in the metal world.

Sans Plus Attendre is a 1993 album by the Belgian singer Axelle Red. Axelle Red (born Fabienne Demal on 15 February 1968) is a Belgian singer-songwriter. She was born at Hasselt, Flanders, Belgium, the daughter of Roland Demal, a solicitor in Hasselt and Councillor for the Flemish liberal party, Open-VLD, in the City Council. Nowadays a committed artist and a militant humanist, back in 1993 Axelle graduated from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel as a lawyer, the same year her first album Sans Plus Attendre was released which immediately resulted in her breaking in France, Switzerland, Canada and Belgium, where sales alone amounted to more than 200,000.

Recorded in June 2005 in a historic steel mill, the "Kesselhaus", in Germany, the concert testifies to Seal's electrifying live performance in front of his loyal fans with a full symphonic orchestra of 52 musicians. Beethoven was inspired to write the "Coriolan Overture" by a drama by the Austrian H.J. von Collin. Wagner wrote the music for Logengrin between 1846 and 1848; the work was then accepted for performance by the Dresden Opera House. Part of a Fantasy sampler series that features musicians (and in this case a notable vocalist) performing the blues, this CD features Ella Fitzgerald on 11 performances taken from a variety of sessions. Although she never specialized in the blues, Ella had no difficulty swinging over blues changes and sometimes putting strong emotion into the lowdown variety. There is one song apiece from the 1950s and '60s, while the remainder of the program dates from 1971-1979.
