is an American monthly black and white comic published by Image Comics beginning in 2003. The comic was created by writer Robert Kirkman and artist Tony Moore (replaced by Charlie Adlard from issue #7 onward) and chronicles the travels of a group of people trying to survive in a world stricken by a zombie apocalypse. The series has been divided into 6-issue story arcs. Issue #66 concludes the 11th story arc entitled, "Fear The Hunters." It is also one of, if not the, most chilling issues ever. And it may yet be the most brilliant and finest work Kirkman and Adlard have done together as a creative team, so much so that IGN has given issue #66 an "Outstanding" 9.2 rating and an Editors' Choice Award for the comics week of October 14, 2009. As I have always been saying, IMHO the best among all the comic book series currently ongoing.

is a ongoing comic book series written by Jason Aaron and illustrated by R. M. Guéra, published monthly by Vertigo Comics. Issue #1 was published on January 3, 2007. Right away the series' style can fairly be described as a fusion of film noir and western elements in a modern setting concerning organized crime on the (fictional) Prairie Rose Indian Reservation in South Dakota. It is a no holds barred tale about past mistakes, bold moves, and a proud people brought low by lies, violence, and corrupt men and women. The artist, R. M. Guéra, uses the colour brown predominantly, with blue and green monotones to emphasize starkness and aiming for a grimy, dirty look. Shadows, the desert and the glaring sun are used to emphasize a sort of stifling atmosphere. Aaron for his part intersperses many allusions to noir prose authors and to the western genre in the names of his characters and in his titles, in a sort of pop homage. Graphic and violent, yet among the most consistently good titles of Vertigo. IGN gave the current issue #32 an 8.8 rating and an Editors' Choice Award for the comics week of October 14, 2009.

+ Hellboy: The Wild Hunt Issues #1-6

When ancient giants begin to rise from their graves across England, Hellboy is invited to join a mysterious group called the Wild Hunt and help bring them down. But the hunt leads to betrayal, and Hellboy finds himself up against enemies as angry about what he is as what he's done. "The fading children of the earth gather in the shadows, waiting for the promised return of the Queen of Blood, and a chance to once again shake the trees, crack mountains, and make the daytime world weep in fear." Hot on the heels of the 2008 summer film release , Mike Mignola and Duncan Fegredo reunite with , the follow-up to events set in motion in their 2007 Hellboy miniseries .

    + B.P.R.D. 1947 Issues #1-3

After the overwhelming praise from fans and critics alike for B.P.R.D.: 1946, Mike Mignola and cowriter Joshua Dysart return to the Hellboy universe for , a five-issue miniseries continuing the early exploits of the fledgling Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense and its founder, Trevor Bruttenhom—occult investigator and guardian of the infant Hellboy. Despite the fact that the Hellboy/B.P.R.D. franchise has ballooned over the years and creator Mike Mignola rarely has the time to illustrate any of these stories, the various mini-series and one-shots over the years have managed to achieve a surprisingly consistent visual style. 1947 is no exception. With art by Eisner award winners Gabriel Bá and Fábio Moon, it is a visual treat. Mike Mignola himself talks about Bá and Moon: "Their work is amazing, and we’re giving them an epic gothic tale, a moody and shadowy nightmare unlike anything they’ve done, and darker, scarier, and more mysterious than anything we’ve done in such a long format." And about 1947: "In the 1946 series, the B.P.R.D. was just two guys and one of them died. In 1947 we see the humble beginnings of the Bureau we know and love today."

    + The Marvels Project #1-2

A new miniseries about the Golden Age Marvel Universe, revealing the birth of the original super-heroes and the dramatic effect it has on the current Marvel Universe as we know it, from the wondrous creative team of Ed Brubaker and Steve Epting. Brubaker brilliantly makes the people from the 1940's as real as if they do really exist and just there beside you, and Epting mastery of form and contrast has never been more pronounced as in this issue when the Torch meets Namor in mid-air; you can really see the Torch burn brighter than everything around him, and the searing intensity of his flames seem almost palpable. This is superb writing and and phenomenal artistry in perfect harmony. No wonder IGN gave this issue an "Outstanding" 9.0 rating and an Editor's Choice Award for the comics week of October 14, 2009. One of Marvel's best among its current titles.
