And now for something completely different! is a Canadian independent comic book written and illustrated by Canadian artist and master graphic novelist Dave Sim, the creator of the 300-issue, 6,000-page epic ("... the longest-running originally English-language comic book series ever by a single creative team."). The premise of the comic book is threefold: a parody of fashion magazines, a history of photorealism in comic books (starting with Alex Raymond's in 1946), and a surreal super-heroine comic (read that the strangest super-heroine comic book of all time). Great art and layout work, though. Posted here purely for purposes of trivia and equal-opportunity exposure. Don't say I didn't warn you.

is a six-issue comic book limited series published by Marvel Comics. It is the penultimate story arc of five based on Stephen King's The Dark Tower series of novels. It is plotted by Robin Furth, scripted by Peter David, and illustrated by Richard Isanove, with covers by Jae Lee. Stephen King is the Creative and Executive Director of the project. Continuity is maintained as issue #1 picks up where the previous story arc's finale left off. The last installment of this series is due for release on November 9, 2009.

is the third installment of IDW Publishing's series (the comics' covers say "Best of UK" but the IDW Transformers page says "Best of the UK"). Following along the same lines of , IDW Publishing has begun a series of Marvel UK reprints focusing on collections of stories similar to, but not necessarily the same as, those previously published by Titan Books. The first of these was , immediately followed by several series under the moniker . The series, along with , were much like , in that they featured brand new covers that were either recreations of the original cover or a depiction of some important scene in the issue. However, unlike Generations, these comics were sold at full price ($3.99 U.S.) Five series have been produced so far. A sixth, , is currently being published. IDW's Time Wars started with "Dry Run!" (issue #189), followed by "Altered Image!" and "All in the Minds!" (Both in ), "Firebug!" (issue #188, part of Titan's collection) and the seven-part "Time Wars" arc (issues #199–205).
