Nanette Joan Workman (born 20 November 1945 in Brooklyn, New York) is today a singer-songwriter, actress and authoress who has been based in Quebec, Canada during much of her career. She was raised by musician parents in Jackson, Mississippi where she began her first performances. She mainly performs in French although raised as a native English speaker. During her career she has recorded together with numerous well-known musicians in the U.S., Canada, England, and France.
This album shows the whole spectrum of her talent, from grand style disco to blues rock, French and English, Nanette does it all.
Cette nouvelle compilation de Michel Sardou, qui ressemble toutefois à la précédente (1996) est un pur régal. Elle permet aux personnes n'étant pas particulièrement fans de découvrir l'oeuvre de ce grand chanteur populaire depuis les années 60. Quant aux fans, ils seront ravis de réentendre toutes ces magnifiques mélodies qui ont bercé et bercent encore plusieurs générations.
