Body and Soul: Christmas features a number of holiday songs performed by some of the best soul artists of the late 20th century. You get '60s soul legends (the Temptations' "Silent Night," Otis Redding's "White Christmas," and the Surpremes' "Twinkle Twinkle Little Me"), '70s soul icons (Isaac Hayes' "Mistletoe and Me," the O'Jays' "Merry Christmas Baby," the Ohio Players' "Happy Holidays"), and some more contemporary artists (SWV's "Christmas Ain't Christmas," Boyz II Men's "Let It Snow"). The Marvin Gaye performance, "I Want to Come Home for Christmas," is also noteworthy. Who Let the Cats Out? may be Stern’s most fully realized record to date. It consolidates the many musical directions he’s explored on past records, but there are fresh developments as well. There’s the second line rhythm of “Roll With It,” which he first explored on Play (Atlantic, 1999). There are examples of his longstanding approach to writing serpentine post bop themes fused with rock energy.

This is the long awaited follow up CD to the first HLMP CD released back in 2003. The band features guitarists Keith Howland and Chris Pinnick, both from different eras of the legendary band Chicago, Lance Morrison on bass (Alanis Morrisette, Don Henley), Matt Laug on drums (Alanis Morrisette, Slash), and Jeff Babko on keys (James Taylor, Toto, Jimmy Kimmel Band). The band was born back in 2003 when two guitarists sharing the same band (Chicago) were introduced by the band's guitar tech Hank Stieger. Keith and Chris hit it off immediately and decided to make a CD of all instrumental guitar songs. Keith enlisted the help of longtime friends Lance Morrison and Matt Laug on bass and drums. The result was "friendly competition" amongst the two guitarists and a live energy that is hard to miss.

INSAIN is a Parisian band formed at the end of 2007 by David (guitar) and Seb (vocals), joined few weeks later by Tibo (bass) and Jonathan (drums).The core Objective is to play brutal and fast music inspired by some great US and Polish bands, thus conserving a simple and humble approach in composition.
