100 privileged guests form part of this concert with a band who have played to hundreds of thousands at one gig alone-and see the wry introduction of "Poor Man's Moody Blues" by John Lees. Recorded at the end of 2010 the band welcomed the audience to "John's bedroom" and gave virtually a song-by-song rendition of the story of Barclay James Harvest. Filmed live for ITV in the intimate surroundings of London's Metropolis Studios on 4th December, 2010. The band was appearing as a quartet in the absence of Woolly Wolstenholme, who was unable to appear due illness, and who tragically died nine days later.

Digitally remastered two CD set containing a pair of albums from the Jazz great: Discovery and Nirvana. The breadth and vitality of Charles Lloyd's music is apparent throughout the Discovery! album. All the selections are his own compositions except, of course, Henry Mancini's and Johnny Mercer's Academy Award-winning 'Days of Wine and Roses'. Along the way, Charles receives exceptional support from Don Friedman, one of the most original of the young piano talents, and from a rhythm team of Eddie Khan (bass) and Roy Haynes (drums) on one of the sessions which resulted in this album.

Al Di Meola has been known throughout the world for the past two-and-a-half decades as one of the most prominent virtuosos in the contemporary instrumental jazz field.
