In what promises to be a breakthrough achievement in a long and celebrated career, jazz impresario Arturo Sandoval's collection A Time For Love will be released by Concord Jazz. The album features classical compositions for orchestra and jazz trio by Grammy-winning arranger Jorge Calandrelli along with a sprinkling of American jazz standards by composers including Gershwin and Chaplin.

Darkmoon was founded in 1997 in Switzerland. With a melodic hybrid of Death-, Thrash- and Blackmetal the band knows to like. Now the band presents their latest album "Wounds" , which is waiting to be made available on a broad base of the metal community. Again produced by V.O. Pulver at Little Creek Studio "Wounds" presents the band matured, more complex and powerful, ready to leave large imprints in the metal landscape. The cover artwork by Travis Smith (Amorphis, Katatonia) wraps the album is a high quality and will be supplemented by a great booklet.

Album published in Spain in 1987 by Divucsa in the 'Perfil' collection, which he dedicated to collecting compilations of what they called Gold Orchestras. In this case the album gathers two separate recordings in two medley tracks of music from Brazil performed by the orchestra of Everaldo Jobim and his School of Samba.

Michel Camilo is a pianist and composer from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is known as a great jazz, latin and classical pianist with superb technical ability, and has played and recorded with many world-famous musicians. Michel lists some of his main influences as Chick Corea, Keith Jarrett, Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, and Art Tatum.

Jimmy Raney leads two separate groups on this OJC reissue CD, both recorded during the mid-'50s. The first session finds the leader experimenting with overdubbing a second guitar line over his introduction and closing during all four pieces, including the very exciting "Minor" (which is based on the chord changes to "Bernie's Tune"), "Double Image" (inspired by "There Will Never be Another You"), plus some wild improvised counterpoint between Raney and pianist Hall Overton in "On the Square" and an intricate rendition of the ballad "Some Other Spring."
