In the past, Pete Townshend has let his lyrics tell the story from within the music, and that has allowed much of his work to stand timeless both as individual songs and entire concept pieces. On Psychoderelict, songs and music fight the spoken word "drama" throughout. Some individual songs are interesting; many are forgettable.

A sequel to Matthew Sweet and Susanna Hoffs' 2007 stroll through the '60s was perhaps inevitable, at least as inevitable as the decision to devote Under the Covers, Vol. 2 to the super sounds of the '70s.

For this Classics CD (one in a series of Teddy Wilson releases that reissue all of the pianist's early recordings as a leader), Billie Holiday is featured on nine of the titles including "I'll Get By," "Mean to Me," "Foolin' Myself," and "Easy Living"; all of those gems also feature tenor saxophonist Lester Young. ~ AllMusic

Frontiers Records has set an August 23 North American release date (three days later in Europe) for Norwegian powerhouse vocalist Jorn Lande's (MASTERPLAN, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, ARK, THE SNAKES) "Live In Black" a 2-CD. The concert was recorded on June 10, 2010 at the Sweden Rock Festival in front of more than 25,000 people.
