Blind Vengeance was a short-lived heavy metal band that formed in the middle of the '80s. Talented teen singer Harry Hess was the strength of the endeavor, along with experienced drummer Darren Smith. In 1984, Blind Vengeance signed with Attic Records and finished work on a debut album, Taste of Sin. When no other recordings came about, Hess and Smith put a quick end to Blind Vengeance and formed a new band, Harem Scarem, with bassist Mike Gionet and guitarist Pete Lesperance.

Managed (like the Beatles) by Brian Epstein, Gerry Marsden and his band burst out of the gate with three consecutive number one U.K. hits in 1963, "How Do You Do It," "I Like It," and "You'll Never Walk Alone." If the Beatles defined Merseybeat at its best in early 1963, Gerry & the Pacemakers defined the form at its most innocuous, performing bouncy, catchy, and utterly lightweight tunes driven by rhythm guitar and Marsden's chipper vocals.

BBC in Concert 1972-1973 is a CD of live recordings by the British rock group Badfinger released in 1997 by Strange Fruit Records and then re-released in 2000 by Fuel 2000 Records. The recordings were made for the BBC in 1972 and 1973, in two separate concerts at the Paris Theatre in London. The album also includes a 1970 BBC recording of Badfinger's first Top 10 hit, "Come and Get It".
