-Quiet Riot was founded in 1975 by guitarist Randy Rhoads and singer Kevin Dubrow. The original line-up also consisted of Kelli Garni and drummer Drew Forsyth. William Byrd (c.1543 – 1623) was considered by his contemporaries to be a musician without peer. The music he wrote for voices to sing is generally recognized as his chief glory. While there are no transcriptions of chansons or song intabulations among his instrumental works, every moving line in one of his fantasies or pavans is in essence a wordless voice, having different registers and needing breath. Presented here by acclaimed harpsichordist Colin Tilney is a delectable assortment of keyboard works highlighting the vocal character of Byrd’s writing including his exquisite setting of John Dowland’s famed Pavan "Lachrymae."

She had a vast repertoire that extended from the Baroque to contemporary composers like Stravinsky and she left a considerable recorded legacy.

After the break up of the band Mirror after only one album (1976's Daybreak) and intensive touring of Holland, three of the core members of that band - Philip de Goey, Kees Walravens and Johan Saanen - formed Lethe in 1978. In addition to de Goey on piano, oboe and flute, Walravens on guitar, and Saanen on bass guitar, Lethe also featured Hans Lambers on drums, percussion, xylophone, vibraphone and strings, and Thuur Feyen on organ, piano and strings…
