"Beyond Appearances" is the thirteenth studio album by Santana, released in 1985 (see 1985 in music). The album took seven months to make, and (apart from Carlos Santana himself) involved a completely different line-up from Santana's previous album (released two and a half years earlier). It was firmly in the style of the 1980s, making much use of synthesizers and drum machines. Beyond Appearances performed relatively poorly, reaching only fifty on the Billboard album chart; one of its tracks, "Say It Again", reached number 46 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart (though it performed better on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, reaching number fifteen).

"Revolve", Danger Danger's seventh studio album, marks the return of lead vocalist Ted Poley. It is also the first Danger Danger studio album to feature Rob Marcello on guitar. It works great for the band. There is nothing unexpected here – which in this case is good, just more classic Danger Danger material. The added production bells and whistles brings the band up to date, but at the heart of the album is classic D2 – albeit perhaps a little more laid back than 20 years ago.

The Alessi Brothers is an American pop rock singer-songwriter duo, best known for their 1984 hit "Savin' the Day" and also their 1977 hit "Oh Lori". The duo are identical twin brothers, Bill (Billy) Alessi and Bob (Bobby) Alessi (born 12 July 1953, West Hempstead, New York).

2008 reissue, the first time on CD for this overlooked British Pop gem, originally released in 1969. a striking set which tells the story of a boy, Charley Cinders, who is born ["Waiting to Be"]; he's blind ["Alone on the Shore"]; the trials and tribulations he has to deal with ["Marstrand", "China Clipper", "The Problem", "Elea-Elea", "Trixon's Election"] and ultimately his own demise ["Charley Cinders"]." in production the music speaks loudly of Keith's British Pop influences and the arrangements twist and turn in such a way that they could only be from a songwriter enthralled with Sgt Pepper. All of which explains why the Adventures of Keith fell through the cracks in mainstream 1969 America, only to become a highly sought-after soft rock collectable in recent years. RPM.

Dutch band MR. ALBERT SHOW, apparently named after a roadie, was formed in 1969 by Bertus Borgers (saxophone, flute, vocals), Roeland Boogaart (drums), Tom Fautubun (bass), Eric Lintermans (guitars) and Bonki Bongaerts (organ). Strengthened by the vocal talents of Floortje Klomp they make their debut with the single "Wild Sensation" in 1970, followed by their full length debut album "Mr. Albert Show" later the same year. The following their sophomore effort "Warm Motor" appeared, while the non-album single "Show Me Your Tongue" was released in support of it.

Fate has a way of putting things into an interesting context. When it was announced that Iggy Pop would be collaborating with Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age, the music press buzzed with anticipation about the project. What would the proto-punk icon and the snarky hard rock smart guy come up with? The surprise answer is, in many respects, 2016's Post Pop Depression, an unwitting but loving tribute to Pop's friend and collaborator David Bowie. Post Pop Depression arrived two months after Bowie's death, and was completed before his health problems became common knowledge. More than anything, though, this music evokes the sound and feel of Pop's first two solo albums.

"Frontiers" is the eighth studio album by the American Rock band Journey, released in February 1983 on the Columbia Records label. This is the last album to feature bassist Ross Valory until 1996's Trial by Fire. The album reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and would garner four top 40 singles: "After the Fall" (No. 23), "Send Her My Love" (No. 23), "Faithfully" (No. 12), and "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" (No. 8), and a rock radio hit in "Chain Reaction". The album would later achieve the RIAA certification of six times platinum. "Frontiers" was the band's highest-charting album in the United Kingdom, reaching No. 6 on the UK Albums Chart in 1983.

This box set comprises eight discs recorded by the remarkable Jordi Savall with his wife Montserrat Figueras and the wonderful Hespèrion XX. They span a period of ten or so years from 1976 were originally issued on LP by Virgin Classics. Since those days Savall’s performances have matured and grown in confidence but one can still easily recognize the brains behind the outfit and the sound-world he wanted to create. Later he moved to Auvidis Astrée and in more recent times has set up his own label - Alia Vox - where he really has been set loose. He has produced discs with superb documentation which have investigated many forgotten corners of medieval and Renaissance music which quite often we never even knew existed.

Formed in Stockholm in early 2008, Dynazty has been a vital force to be reckoned with on the hardrock/heavy metal scene ever since. Releasing four studio albums in a mere six years window, the Swedes quickly grew a reputation for being ferociously ambitious and productive. Titanic Mass is the culmination of all the knowledge we’ve learned and all the experience we’ve gained over the years writing songs and making albums. Our efforts combined with the mastery of producer Peter Tägtgren has resulted in an album that we feel is really strong. To us, Titanic Mass is without a doubt our ultimate effort.
