Koldkrypt is a one-man black metal project from France. The mastermind behind it is the multi-instrumentalist who goes by the moniker Typhus. Koldkrypt plays a style of occult black metal that is very heavily rooted in the 90's style of the genre and they bring back the raw style and also mix it in with the more epic and atmospheric side of the second wave, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Satanism, left Hand Path, Occultism and Anti Christian themes.

The German power metal band ‘Assignment’ releases its fourth album! It is the first disc on which the new singer Diego Valdez can be heard. This album is probably the most mature sounding work that the band has recorded so far. Based on the band slogan “Metal Without Borders” the band once again presents its sophisticated, metal genre cross-mix, while the songs themselves are always focused. Compared to its predecessor, the band now presents an album that is quite riff-oriented, but at the same time it also has epic melodies and big choruses. With his powerful voice that reminds us of Ronnie James Dio, Diego Valdez brings a pinch of classic metal into the overall package.

Originally, Frank Sinatra had planned to record Only the Lonely with Gordon Jenkins, who had arranged his previous all-ballads album, Where Are You. Jenkins was unavailable at the time of the sessions, which led Sinatra back to his original arranger at Capitol, Nelson Riddle. The result is arguably his greatest ballads album.

This set contains the complete works by Telemann in which the Viola da Gamba (or viol) has a prominent and soloistic role. The Viola da Gamba may be described as the predecessor of the modern Violoncello, and in its time it was a popular instrument much in use in instrumental music and as part of the Basso Continuo. Its slightly more modest volume compared with the cello is more than compensated by its specific timbre, with its vocal and sometimes melancholic qualities.

His mastery of extended instrumental forms truly comes of age in the First Piano Quartet, a work which breathes a confidence and fluency to rival Brahms. An adventurous harmonic palette distinguishes the Second Piano Trio, the Beethovenian pathos of its slow movement contrasting with the defiant turbulence of its cyclically related outer movements. Stelvio Cipriani born 20 August 1937 in Rome is an Italian composer, notably for motion picture soundtracks. Though not coming from a musical background, as a child Cipriani was fascinated by his church's organ. His priest gave him his first music lessons and encouraged Cipriani and his family. Cipriani passed his examinations and studied at Santa Cecilia Conservatory from the age of 14, then played on cruise ship bands, that enabled him to meet Dave Brubeck.
Upon return to Italy he accompanied Rita Pavone on piano. His first soundtrack was the spaghetti western El Precio de un Hombre/The Bounty Killer (1966) followed by a well known score for Un Uomo, uno caballo, una pistola/The Stranger Returns/Shoot First Laugh Last (1967) starring Tony Anthony (actor); Cipriani later composed other spaghetti western scores with Anthony. Cipriani became prolific in the Italian film world and was awarded a Nastro d'Argento Best Score for The Anonymous Venetian (film) (1970). In a 2007 interview, Cipriani said that he had composed music for Pope John Paul II and was currently working with Pope Benedict XVI. One of Cipriani's tracks from the film La polizia sta a guardare featured in Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof.

Jerry Popolo, one of the major representatives of jazz music in Italy, returns July 27 with his new album, a fine album "BELEZA", published and distributed worldwide by the label Bit Music & Sound, produced by Pasquale Faggiano and recorded at Studio Recoa.

Though conventional wisdom would state that no one can serve two masters, Italian piano sensation Giovanni Allevi maintains an impressive career in music and continues to distinguish himself in the field of philosophy. Born in Ascoli Piceno on April 9, 1969, Allevi first pursued an education in music, earning high marks in piano and composition from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan. Before entering the professional music world, he graduated cum laude with a Ph.D in philosophy, with a thesis titled The Emptiness of Modern Physics. Shortly thereafter, Allevi turned his attentions back to composition, releasing 13 Dita (Universal) in 1997.

This latest album has developed over numerous drop-in sessions at The Trench Studios ,which is owned by producer and musician Paula Riordan. Paula has collaborated with Paul on many of his great recordings. Recordings which include the pop hit “Harmonica Man” from 1994, up to and including the award winning “Hole in the Wall” album from 2014.
