    @ Publishers: Please READ it

    Posted By: Bully
    Dear Publisher!

The special collection sections are special places to publish large collections, not single albums.. The "> 5 CD" should make this clear. The fact that a published album is part of a collection does not make it to a collection itself.

**IF** you want to publish in the collection sections, you need to publish a collection of albums in your publication. Single albums do NOT fit here.

From the haunting music of the Moonlight Sonata, to the sweet sounds of the Adagio Cantabile from the Pathetique Sonata, this is truly a treasure to own. Pieces range from those solely composed for the piano to those written for an entire orchestra. The popular "Für Elise" is also included, and this is one CD that will not disappoint.

Ellis-Bextor has released three solo albums: Read My Lips, Shoot from the Hip, and Trip The Light Fantastic. She is due to release her fourth solo album, Make a Scene, in 2011.

    Rock / Fusion / Instrumental / Guitar

The former Police guitarist's first solo instrumental album turns out to be a gentle, thoroughly domesticated continuation of his looping soundscapes with Robert Fripp earlier in the 1980s ("I Advance Masked"). Keyboardist David Hentschel is … Full Descriptiona co-conspirator on several tracks, though Summers is perfectly content to go it alone on others. With its repeated guitar loops, interactive counterlines, gentle washes of keyboards, advancing and receding waves of effects, Summers is out to sooth and refresh, not to challenge and disturb – and the music drifts lazily toward the shores of the soporific New Age.

Bassist Miroslav Vitous and Jan Garbarek (on soprano and tenor) are featured throughout this ECM CD on a set of introspective duets. Garbarek does emit some passion on soprano and Vitous augments the music at times with some percussive sounds made by hitting his bass; once in awhile he also adds brief samples from what he calls "the Miroslav Vitous Symphony Orchestra Sound Library." But in general this is a stereotypical ECM date, recommended to fans of that genre.

In 1958 this quintet enjoyed an extended, 6-month stay at a left-bank club, Le Chat Qui Peche, during which time the concert recorded on this album took place (but not in the club). It's pleasant neo-bop but nothing exceptional, and it certainly doesn't acquire the fire and force of the live performances by the group, which was largely driven by Art Taylor's thunderous, explosive beat. ~ Amazon

Norman Granz's idea to match Zoot Sims' lyrical, swinging tenor sax with Johnny Mandel's equally arresting compositions was a masterful one. Sims' tart, alternately lush and furious solos were wonderfully spotlighted on such tunes as "Cinnamon and Cloves," "Emily" and "Zoot." ~ Allmusic

As controlled as their self-titled debut was loose, War's sophomore effort, All Day Music, appearing a little over six months later in November 1971, was packed with subtly understated grooves. A hit with the fans, the LP peaked in the Top Ten, ultimately spending a massive 39 weeks on the charts. Side one is a gorgeous slab of mellow grooves and jazzed funk highlighted by both the title track and "Get Down," while "That's What Love Can Do" is an outstanding, textured, sleepy love affair revolving around the band's superior vocal harmonies and a tenor sax solo.
