Patrick Bruel (born on May 14, 1959 in Tlemcen, Algeria) is a French singer, actor, and professional poker player of Algerian Jewish descent. Although Bruel aspired to be a football (soccer) star as a youth, he decided to pursue singing after seeing Michel Sardou in 1975. His first success came as an actor, however, in 1979's Le Coup de sirocco. He continued acting in films, on television and in the theater while pursuing his singing career. Circa 2005, this might seemed like the most recent release for the Italian singer/songwriter, but it wasn't actually a new record, having first appeared in Europe ten years previously. However, it had aged remarkably well, with some superb backing from the likes of trumpeter David Lewis and François Moutin on bass (whose solo on "Un Po' di là del Mare" is one of the disc's instrumental highlights, a breathless piece of sheer virtuosity). ~ AllMusic

Nocturnal is the third album by heavy metal band The Black Dahlia Murder. Nocturnal was released by Metal Blade on September 18 2007. Nocturnal is the first album to feature new bassist Bart Williams, who replaced Dave Lock, and drummer Shannon Lucas, who replaced previous touring drummer Pierre Langlois.
