Of all Tatsuya Yoshida's projects, Korekyojinn might just be the most accessible: no weird zeuhl vocals and tunes that open up and make room for some soloing and just plain rock out. OK, maybe accessible isn't quite the right word because these are ferocious, odd-meter, polyrhythmic power trio instrumentals at their finest…

A welcome return after a long absence. The 13 song CD opens with "Only Love Can Save Me" which is probably not the most convincing number on the album, though it does grow on you with listening. The next two songs are Ballard at his best. "Stay With Me Tonight" and "Vibrate" are uptempo catchy beasts that stick in the mind. On the whole this is an album that you have to listen to a few times to get into it. The effort is worthwhile because this is undoubtedly an excellent collection of new songs, six co-written with Chris Winter.

Straight Up is the third album by British rock band Badfinger, released in December 1971 in the United States and February 1972 in Britain. Issued on the Beatles' Apple record label, it includes the hit singles "Day After Day" and "Baby Blue", and the similarly popular "Name of the Game", all of which were written by singer and guitarist Pete Ham. The album marked a departure from the more rock-oriented sound of Badfinger's previous releases, partly as a result of intervention by Apple Records regarding the band's musical direction. Although Straight Up received a mixed response from critics on release, many reviewers now regard it as the band's best album. Rolling Stone critic David Fricke has referred to it as "Badfinger's power-pop apex".

In 2007, the 50th anniversary of Sibelius’s death, BIS begins the release of a 13-volume edition of all the music that the great master ever created – from the symphonies and tone poems to chamber works and songs. As well as the published works, the edition includes rare original versions and world première recordings of works from his youth – material which to a large extent is unique to BIS. The edition – a grand total of some 65 discs – contains previously released as well as new material, in volumes of 4-6 discs sorted by genre.

In March of 2013, legendary Swedish symphonic progressive rock band, Änglagård played a series of concerts over three nights at the Club Citta, Tokyo, sharing a bill with The Crimson ProjeKCt. Änglagård, now with a revised lineup, present a unique take on progressive rock with influences such as Swedish folk music, old school progressive rock like King Crimson, Genesis, and Dun, and classical music, all wrapped in a very dynamic and symphonic style. Whereas many symphonic prog bands place the rock first and classical second, Änglagård mix the ‘sturm und drang’ of classical music with rock instrumentation such as electric guitar, bass, and synths along side prog rock experimentation.
