GHOST BRIGADE are a band that have found and defined themselves, you can tell. “Isolation Songs” is, among other things, a very mature and focused album that really comes from a band who sound like they know what they're doing. The music itself is a quite original blend of Sludge Metal, Progressive Metal and melancholic Melodic Death Metal in the vein of INSOMNIUM or BEFORE THE DAWN, which in the hands of a lesser band might be somewhat disjointed and over the top, but GHOST BRIGADE have none of these problems.
