The Swedish band REV 16:8 was already formed in 1997, back then under the name BLOODSHED. They changed to their current name in 2008 and have just put out their second full-length record. The opener ‘Agenda’ points out the direction the album is going to take - modern Black Metal, combined with traditional and brutal elements. In general, it can be said that REV 16:8 created a very varied and interesting piece of Black Metal. No song is like the other, and yet it all creates a very felicitous and innovative overall picture.

It was an inspired idea to match alto saxophonist Jackie McLean with the Great Jazz Trio, a regularly working unit on record and in concert led by the outstanding pianist Hank Jones, joined by two first call players, bassist Ron Carter and drummer Tony Williams. Collaboration is the third CD to be issued from a pair of 2002 sessions by the Great Jazz Trio, featuring Elvin Jones and Richard Davis with leader Hank Jones. At the age of 15, Mario enrols as the youngest full student at the University of Music and Representational Art, to study classical drums. His increasing love for jazz and Latin American music brings him to his secret love, the piano.
