This Canadian beast of Doom will unleash a masterpiece of darkness and heaviness that we can hardly remember being reached by other bands in the past. Yes of course there is fashinating music style called Funeral Doom: we all love it but we also know the limits of it.Towards Darkness somehow manage to offer that kind of hopeless grief and sound-space depth, but they do through a really solid and aggressive line-up, able to offer the same apocalypse on stage and not only in a recording studio. For that reason TD never sounds ‘fake’ or ‘studio made’ like instead quite a few funeral doom projects sadly do.

Canadian multi-instrumentalist Rick Miller has always been one for mellow music. Beginning his work in the eighties with the new age record "Starsong", Rick has gone on to make a series of albums, often drawing comparisons to the work of Pink Floyd, and for good reason. "Dark Dreams" is another warming addition to this saga, capitalizing on his soulful guitar style and artistic maturity. Rick Miller comment : "This is my latest CD, in the genre of what I would call Progressive Rock. That term defining the type of music that was made famous throughout the 70s by bands such as Genesis, The Moody Blues and Pink Floyd. Two Man Sound is a Belgian trio of the 70s. This album reissued the original released in 1978 and was a success in much of Europe. The main track, ‘Disco samba’, is a mix of Brazilian and disco music.

The album went double platinum, reaching number 5 in the UK Albums Chart with a 28 week stay and produced several hit singles, the most successful being the haunting "Will You", and "Eighth Day". When O'Connor toured the UK in support of Breaking Glass the album, she selected as her opening act a then-unknown local group from Birmingham called Duran Duran. It was the band's first opportunity to play to large audiences throughout the UK and gave them the exposure they needed to secure a recording contract (with EMI).

Hailed by American Bluesman Walter Trout, Mitch Laddie’s second album offers a diverse range of styles and demonstrates the Englishman’s virtuoso as a guitarist and song writer. At the age of 21, Laddie is clearly confident in his ability and has produced a fluent record that eases between heavy blues tracks with incendiary guitar riffs to softer, mellow tracks carried by the rich vocals and lyrics. This musical documentary chronicles the Kansas City blues and jazz scene, and includes interviews and archival footage of many of the greats, notably, the big-band sound of Count Basie and his Orchestra, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie and his Quintet, and Ernie Williams, who called himself "the Last of the Blue Devils."
