Earth Dances is Birtwistle's most important large-scale orchestral work of the 1980s (it was completed in 1986).
Panic is a brilliantly virtuosic showpiece for saxophone, drum-kit, and orchestra which achieved notoriety when it had its world premiere at the Last Night of the Proms in September 1995.

Their style can be described as a mix of Viking / Black / Death Metal with significant modern influences. Neck breaking mid-tempo riffing, fast paced drummings, next to heroic melodic portions makes their sound, fullfilled by vocals starting from psychodelic whispering, to demonic growls and apocalyptic screams.

Deafknife are a new post-black metal/shoegaze band from Krasnoyarsk (central Siberia). Their first demo "Pantheon", recorded in 2010, was entirely based on Cthulhu Mythos - but according to the band, their lyrics always were socially conscious, mostly dealing with such topics as human stupidity, aggression and herd instinct. There isn't any big metal or punk scene in Krasnoyarsk, and the opinion of Deafknife members on post-Soviet metal scene is generally quite low . They don't claim to be a political band, but they're quite friendly to the punk/HC scene, and strongly dislike NSBM.

This is CD premiere of 2nd album by great but very underrated US hard rock band from New York. This excellent record was released in the end of 1972 by RCA Victor and just like debut LP (from the same year) should be described as blues-based, guitar-dominated and very energetic rock music inspired by Led Zeppelin, Free, Humble Pie and Mountain, based on catchy guitar riffs, great vocals, fine keyboards and very solid rhythm section. It’s hard to find weak track on this album! Unfortunately, this badly promoted record went completely unnoticed and (after some demo recordings made for unreleased 3rd album) the band split up in 1973. This CD has been carefully remastered from the original, analogue source and sounds really great!
