Laurelie was one of the first bands from the Belgian progressive scene - along with Waterloo, Irish Coffee, Jenghiz Khan & Mad Curry. Their eponymous and now very expensive album (worth 500 euro in Near Mint condition) was released in early 1970 on Triangle label. This minor psych-prog masterpiece (with plenty of nice flute parts) was still rooted in the late 60's songwriting tradition, when condensed tracks were preferred over improvisations. On the other hand, an amazing (and 10-minutes long) opening track was typical progressive offering - with everchanging moods and lots ofguitar, Hammond organ and flute interplay. This premiere CD is necessary for fans of early Jethro Tull, Traffic, The Moody Blues and Cressida. Laurelie split up the same year and bassist Pierre Raepsaet went to Jenghiz Khan.

Formula 3 were one of first and most popular Italian rock bands of the late 60's/early 70's era and their debut LP (released in February 1970 by Numero Uno label) without a doubt is the best psychedelic album ever recorded in Italy! Musically this trio was similar to early Deep Purple, Procol Harum and Vanilla Fudge - with heavy emphasis on Hendrix-like guitar (by Alberto Radius - one of the best Italian guitarists ever), tasteful Hammond organ passages and really fine vocals. The 7-minutes long title track is an amazing piece of dark, intensive and heavy psychedelic rock and must be heard to be believed! Other songs were divided for ambitious pop-psychedelia and heavy, intense pieces including fine rendition of classic Walk Away Renee. It's an album which can‘t be missed!

Last Autumn's Dream is a hard rock band formed in 2002 by vocalist and keyboardist Mikael Erlandsson from Sweden and guitarist Andy Malecek from the German hard rock band Fair Warning. Last Autumn's Dream is one of the best melodic hard rock band's in the last decade and they have released some really stunning albums.

Chamber music by Taneyev, Arensky, Shostakovich and Catoire. Chances are the you have heard of the first two composers. But have you ever heard any of their chamber music? And Catoire? Well, this self-taught composer has been a well-hidden treasure whose small out-put is rarely performed.
Russian born violinist Boris Tsoukkerman introduced Catoire's interesting chamber music to some of his Dutch colleagues. As a result several recordings were made to share their enthusiasm about this repertoire with a wider audience. At the time none other that Tchaikovsky admonished Catoire to continue composing. And later on both Arensky and Taneyev advised him on his work. And Rachmaninorr too liked Catoire's music
