Album released in 2001 in England within the collection 'Ballroom Dance Collection' dedicated to ballroom dance music, in this case a compilation of 32 tracks of dance style 'Quickstep'. The repertoire is widely varied and highly suitable for this style of dance, category called 'standard'. Involved in a number of bands, orchestras and performers offering great titles to enjoy the exercise on the dance floor or to brighten a music session for more than an hour long.

Album released in 1994 compiling the main hits of the Brazilian singer Astrud Gilberto (Bahia, 1940) in her previous recordings. Despite the usual quality of Verve recordings, in this case it misses a real remastering of the original records, on topics such as his famous 'Girl from Ipanema'. But the sweetness, quality and warmth of the voice of Astrud allowed to pass on these inconveniences, highlighting its enormous importance among the other stars of Brazilian music.

Witold Lutosławski (1913-1994) was the pre-eminent member of a group of Polish composers that came to prominence after the Second World War and whose artistic advancement was given impetus by the death of Stalin in 1953. The works in this set cover four decades of Lutosławski's career and include most of his important orchestral works, starting with the early Symphonic Variations, his first and second symphonies and the Concerto for Orchestra, perhaps his best-known work.

The first in a trilogy of recordings exploring religious, social and political discourses around 13th-century music sees Björn Schmelzer and Graindelavoix set off on a journey across Europe, reflecting on the medieval working world of the artist Villard de Honnecourt, who was responsible for a collection (still in existence) of drawings made in connection with the new Gothic cathedrals then being built.

The Chernobyl disaster was a catastrophic nuclear accident that occurred on 26 April 1986 at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine. Inspired by this catastrophe and its consequences a highly radiated newcomer band called CYTOTOXIN simply pulverized the German Brutal Death Metal Underground in 2010. Always on an exalted technical level but still keeping one eye on songwriting and heavy pounding neck breaker riffs they formed a deadly mixture. Combined with unique and bulldozing live performances their fan base increased rapidly.

In 1993 and 1994 Robert Plant toured with a small team around the world playing only unplugged concerts. The DVD contains live recordings of his concerts in Italy, UK and Japan and also contains a few television appearances. A very special document and a real must have for all his fans.
