Psychedelic Pill is the thirty-fifth studio album by Canadian musician Neil Young. It was released on October 30, 2012. This is the second release of a Neil Young collaboration with Crazy Horse in 2012, and their first original work together since the Greendale album and tour in 2003 and 2004.

Collection includes all studio albums and one compilation by English alternative rock band Pulp.

He may be in his mid-sixties, but pianist Chick Corea hasn’t slowed down in the least. In the past five years there’s been a monumental three-week run at New York’s Blue Note, focusing a bright light on acoustic ensembles past and present and beautifully documented on the ten-DVD set Rendezvous in New York (Image Entertainment, 2005).

When k.d. lang released her first major-label album in 1987, she caused considerable controversy within the traditional world of country music. With her vaguely campy approach, androgynous appearance, and edgy, rock-inflected music, very few observers knew what to make of her or her music, although no one questioned her considerable vocal talents. That confusion never quite dissipated over the course of her career, even when she abandoned country music for torchy adult contemporary pop in 1992 with her fourth album, Ingénue.

Saint-Saëns’s first published works for piano were the vivid and characterful Six Bagatelles, Op 3. Album, Op 72 dates from his mid-career and teems with rich colours and textures—haunting and exciting alike. Elsewhere, in this third volume of the Complete Piano Music, we find the richly evocative tone poem Rhapsodie d’Auvergne, paraphrases, and some delicious encores.

Based on compositions that enclose air of charleston, boogie, ragtime, fox, blues, marches, etc. the Delle's Swing Company builds a joyful, rich and varied repertoire that will delight us for a little over an hour of recording.

Promotional album for the gypsy group Narvalo within a collection dedicated to universal ethnic music and flamenco here. 'Narvalo' is a gypsy band natural from the Camargue region of France. The name derives from the title of a book by Pierre Guy Greneuil -founder of the group, musician, songwriter and guitarist-. Narvalo's music thrives on Catalan and Andalusian flamenco music while making sounds and rhythms of ancient Hungarian melodies. Led by Jo Pucheu the group have shaped sound fuller and richer progressively adding to vocals and guitars of the gypsy duo formed by 'Negrita' and 'Boï' more vocal and instrumental components with rhythm sections, keyboards, flute and saxophone. The music on this CD sounds very close to Catalan rumba, which is nourished, and is true, rhythmic, lively and passionate. This CD was reissued again in 2005, under the revised title of 'A trip around the world. Spain. Gipsy flamenco ', this reissue becoming the name of the musical group 'The Gypsies'.

Compared to the Decca recording, Solti here has the finer chorus, a better orchestra (for this work at least), and strangely enough, better sound, particularly in this admirable new remastering that minimizes the claustrophobic closeness of the original and allows some air to circulate around the performers. Solti’s interpretation remains consistent, exciting, and direct, with a particularly thrilling account of the brief Sanctus and a Dies Irae chorus that is as violent as anyone could want without ever turning merely brutal or hysterical. - David Hurwitz, Classicstoday.com

This compilation was inspired by "Jazz Juice". That it is part of the revived Blue Series is ironic. What we are doing is rounding up a vast array of jazz, soul and latin grooves from EMI's vaults.
We have monstrously rare sitar-funk on Ananda Shankar, the obscure Tina Britt's take of Don Covoy's "Sookie, Sookie" and the latin jazz extravaganza of Norman Connor's "Samba For Maria" featuring Blue Note mainstay Freddie Hubbard on trumpet.
For those amused by the quirky, the presence of Cliff Richard is around with Shadow's drummer Brian Bennett, whose "Soul Mission" is lifted from his incredibly rare "Greater London Noise" LP. At the other end of the scale we have a million seller albeit as a В side - in Bobby Gentry's Memphis soaked "Mississippi Delta"

Spectral Tombs is a black metal band hailing from Portland, Oregon. The band consists of guitarist/vocalist John Edwards (Resigned to Fate, Dagon, Forever Mourne), bassist/vocalist Chris Carter, drummer Mark Nunziata, and guitarist Justin Kay. While primarily described as black metal, their music takes heavily from genres such as crust punk, doom metal, and depressive as well as traditional black metal, culminating in a primal display of anger, hopelessness and crushing despair.

Tiamat offers their tenth album, and 'The Scarred People' pretty much encapsulates everything fans love about this band. Full of emotion and melody, this grand and engaging set of songs maintains the band's hold as one of the finest in the dark/gothic metal field.
