Freak Power were a band founded by Norman Cook (a.k.a. Fatboy Slim) and Ashley Slater. Their music was a mix of acid jazz with funk and soul, as well as trip-hop. The band released two albums: “Drive Thru Booty” in 1995 and “More Of Everything For Everybody” in 1996. The debut album features the hit single “Turn On, Tune In, Cop Out”. “Song #6” from the band’s follow-up album was featured in the critically-acclaimed 2004 movie Code 46.

Album recorded by Astor Piazzolla during his visit to New York with his New Tango Quintet in 1986. Piazzolla himself said: 'This is absolutely the greatest album I've ever done in my life. We all leave the soul in this recording '. This album, the first released by Astor in CD format, marked a point in his career in the U.S. market to start with a new label. Astor raised here old classics of his musical career with new arrangements he played with his quintet working with him since 1979. The Quintet were integrated by Hector Console (bass), Horacio Malvicino (electric guitar), Pablo Ziegler (piano) and Fernando Suárez (violin). This album earned him enormous world credit. He opened the door to a massive audience that had never heard. No need to discuss whether or not this music is tango, simply leave discourse its melodies, its polyrhythms, their counterpoints and soak in the atmosphere. Then … don't care, it's Piazzolla.

The most recognized contemporary female flamenco voice is the one of the singer Carmen Pacheco Rodríguez (Linares, 1951) aka Carmen 'Linares'. He began his career virtually with full age and she soon recorded the first album in 1970. Since then his career has continued to grow both in Spain and abroad. Carmen undoubtedly is one of the greatest flamenco singers with knowledge and mastery of the flamenco styles.

The bass has seen its share of extraordinary innovators in the hundred-plus years of jazz history. Stanley Clarke, much like such hallowed figures as Jimmy Blanton, Charles Mingus and Scott LaFaro, was a game changer on his instrument. Unlike those who came before him though, Clarke helped alter the nature of both the acoustic and electric configurations of the bass. His groundbreaking work of the 1970s has been so integrated into the very fabric of modern jazz bass playing that a return visit to his own brilliant recordings can be nothing less than a revelatory listening experience.

A comprehensive and richly varied Delius programme has been put together for this 2-CD collection. Vernon Handley's splendid Ulster performance of the comparatively rarely heard Florida Suite is complemented with, among others, North Country Sketches, a work which reveals a Debussyan influence.

Faust's second album moves closer to actual song structure than their debut, but it still remains experimental. Songs progress and evolve instead of abruptly stopping or cutting into other tracks. The opening song "It's a Rainy Day, Sunshine Girl" begins as a repetitive 4/4 beat played on toms and piano with the title sung over the top. But for seven minutes the song adds instruments, including a lush analog synth line, and ends in a memorable sax riff. Faust's lyrical side appears on the acoustic "Picnic on a Frozen River" and "On the Way to Adamäe," whereas its abrasive side pops up on "Me Lack Space."

Distant System is as new divergent ambient and downtempo music project constructed by electronic producer Tyler Smith (aka Androcell).

Monolith, an industrial metal project was founded in Nis by Petar Jovanovic and Uros Jovanovic in September 2009. The basic idea is to make music that would rely more on sound, noise/effects and (poly)rhythm than actual lyrics. After 2 years of slow progress, the line-up grew from 2 to 5 members, thus becoming a full fledged band. Their first album release, Fragments, was recorded in 2012

Morgue of Saints is a solo project founded by Elliot C, based in Montreal, Canada, founded with the goal of releasing experimental and doom metal created and crafted solely by himself.Sleep/Death is an instrumental experiment with abrasive drones, heavy percussions, acoustic and orchestral elements. It contains three pieces:Sleep I: an orchestrated piece accompanied by heavy droning guitars;Death: a very abrasive drone metal piece, heavily inspired by Earth’s debut album;Sleep II: a slow, mournful, but intense funeral doom piece.
