Standards is a two-volume set of jazz albums released by the Keith Jarrett trio in 1983. Originally released by ECM, they have been multiply re-issued, including by Universal/Polygram. The two volumes present performances of pianist Keith Jarrett with Gary Peacock on bass and Jack DeJohnette on drums. Vol. 1 reached #14 on the Billboard Jazz Albums charts. In 2008 the two albums, along with 1983's Changes, were collected into a boxed set, Setting Standards: New York Sessions.

The renowned Norwegian guitarist – who has previously contributed to ECM recordings with Nils Petter Molv?r, Marilyn Mazur, Arve Henriksen, Andy Sheppard, Arild Andersen and Jon Hassell – with a first ‘leader’ disc for the label, recorded in Kristiansand and Oslo. “Dream Logic” is aptly named, its slowly developing drifting pieces, built up from layers of guitars, have an almost hallucinatory quality, an otherworldly ambience. Jan Bang, who is co-composer of a number of the pieces, also contributes sounds and samples, and co-produced the disc.

There must be too many bands in every corner of Germany that force this band using Custard as a power metal band name. Custard is well established but yet too well known arise from Herne, Germany. They are original to their sounds, already come out with about five albums including today's Infested by Anger. If you like a raw and classy sound, listen to their first album Kingdoms of Your Life as well. Olli Strasser is the vocalist, sing in high pitch in similar to Rob Halford hell high screaming. They also have female member, Anna Olejniczak is serving as guitarist, but not "too exploit" to provide vocals / backvocals in power metal band setting.

Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of rare complete original LPs by Jazz legend Steve Lacy recorded in Italy: Sortie (which appears here on CD for the first time ever) and Disposability. Sortie/Disposability songs Both albums focus on Free Jazz. Sortie/Disposability album Sortie is a quartet excursion with trumpeter Enrico Rava sharing the front line. Sortie/Disposability CD music The long unavailable Disposability presents Lacy with the same bassist and drummer as Sortie in a trio set that includes a mixture of original tunes with compositions by Thelonious Monk, as well as a song by Cecil Taylor and another by Carla Bley.

Celibidache was without question one of the most important and original conductors in recent memory. He was a perfectionist who disliked what he perceived to be the synthetic sounds created in the modern recording studio, preferring the immediacy of the concert platform and the interaction with a live audience.
