Saints Will Conquer is the only live album by American heavy metal band Armored Saint recorded during the Raising Fear tour. It was recorded on October 9, 1987 at the Agora Ballroom in Cleveland and released in 1988 on Metal Blade Records. This short live set does not represent the first era of the band well, missing songs like fan favorite "March of the Saint" and their radio hit "Isolation". The album features a previously unreleased studio version of "No Reason to Live" from their first demo from 1983.

Though Tails was her debut album, Loeb had already hit the stratosphere of the pop charts a year earlier with "Stay", a monster hit from the soundtrack of the film Reality Bites. "Stay" is also included on Tails, but the other 12 tracks demonstrate Loeb had more than one good song in her, even if none of them found similar success on the singles chart. Loeb's knack for infectious, buoyant pop shines through on such instantly catchy tunes as "Snow Day", "Rose-Colored Time" and "Waiting for Wednesday"; quieter, darker numbers such as "Hurricane", "Alone" and "Lisa Listen" reveal a more reflective side; and "Taffy" shows she's occasionally willing to let loose and rock as well.

Artension's "Machine" marks the group's return to the heavy progressive sound of "Phoenix Rising" and once again showcases the musical virtuosity of founders Vitalij Kuprij, Roger Staffelbach and John West. Intense neo-classical ensemble sections and solo trade-offs augment some of the best progressive metal song writing in the genre.

From her days singing with the Count Basie band as a replacement for Joe Williams, to her Indian summer of renewed popularity, Irene Reid always lived up to her moniker, The Queen of Uptown Blues. Like Dinah Washington and Esther Phillips, Irene had a church background and never lost that divine intensity or power to convey the emotions in a lyric. Moving to New York from her native Savannah in 1947, Irene tried out for the Apollo Theater's Amateur Contest and ended up winning it five consecutive times. With Basie in the early '60s, Irene toured Sweden, Switzerland, France and Australia and recorded some albums with her own group, Irene Reid and Company.

Rossini's Il viaggio a Reims was written rapidly in Paris in 1825 to commemorate the coronation of Charles X. Its "plot" concerns a group of international bigwigs who are waiting for their carriages at a spa near Rheims, where they are to be taken to attend the coronation. The carriages don't show up, and the group puts on its own celebration. At the opera's end–the final 20 minutes–each character acknowledges his own heritage (i.e., the Englishman sings "God save the King", the Spaniard sings to a Flamenco rhythm, and so forth) as their flags descend from the stage's heights.

Originally formed in 2003 at the tail end of the Nu-Metal Depression as Bonestorm. Warhawk was formed at a time when thrash(and metal in general) was pronounced dead. Atheist wasn't together, Guitars were in drop-z tunings, solos were some how stupid and hardcore sounded nothing like Black Flag. It was a bad time for the empire. John Savel(Drums),Eric Provenza(Propaganda ,Guitar)and A.Dyer Harris(Fender bass) have been originally adminstering the proper iron dosage that Dr. Mustaine once rx'ed to the masses of central Pennslyvania. These 4 guys are on the front lines of the Heavy Metal War. Hell bent on bringing Metal education to poseurs everywhere, Join the Warhawk Army and Grab your guns and kick some ass, Fighting for the true Warhawk metal mass! ……..You have been marked on my profile map!..

Following military service in the Franco-Prussian War, he married Ellen MacSwinney, from Scotland, on 9 November 1871. In the same year, he joined Saint-Saëns and Romain Bussine to found the Société Nationale de Musique Moderne. Duparc is best known for his 17 mélodies ("art songs") with texts by poets such as Baudelaire, Gautier, Leconte de Lisle, and Goethe.
