Javier Ruibal is a composer, guitarist and Spanish singer born in El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz on May 15, 1955, is also the author of his own texts and arranger of his creations. Converge in their music styles such as flamenco, Sephardic and North African music, jazz, rock, etc.. On 28 February 2007 he received the Medal of Andalusia in recognition of his career. In his writings there is a clear link with the Spanish poetry, especially poets of the Generation of '27 as Rafael Alberti and Federico García Lorca and more recent poets, has also point to the works of classical composers such as Erik Satie.

An utterly uncontemporary mix of blues rock and Sunset Strip sleaze metal, Badlands‘ songs are entirely decent and thoroughly unremarkable–all nostalgia and no teeth. “Hey, hey, little woman /I’ll drag you back to Hell,” promises singer Peter Comerford on retrograde-in-every-way opener “Favourite Sin,” but he seems too polite to mean it.

“Closure” is an eight track album with a playing time of 64 minutes, which is a great proportion for such an album. Although Darkflight are sticking up to what they're known for throughout the entire album, the tracks are still quite various in speed, length and even intensity. Make no mistake about it though, even the lightest of tracks will throw you into a dream land of shadows.

Metrognom is a progressive ensemble from Norway, not the brightest, so far, to dazzle and intrigue, still interesting and powerful as long as progressive rock, in all its modern condition, is regarded as an endless treat of music, mixed styles or rock fever. Deep or dizzy, Metrognom plays in "Twangyluck" rock, jazz, jam, space and pop belted under the sign of a conceptual, purely instrumental and extremely concentrated composition. There are only four pieces, but they're all epic and rarely have a constant rhythm and pleasure.

Multitalented UK artist Kuba presents more of his unbelievable musical diversify. This album is fresh, innovative and a good deal more bold and experimental. The result is an excellent and outstanding production. A wonderful, multicoloured and experimental mix of high qualtity chillout and dub music as its best! Another Kuba classic, perfect chillout music music for the coming summer.

2009’s release “Three Cheers For The Broken-Hearted” reveals a leaner, tighter Glass Hammer; with Steve Babb and Fred Schendel once more handling nearly all of the instrumentation and one hundred percent of the writing and production.
