InsideOutMusic are very pleased to announce the signing of United Progressive Fraternity for the release of their debut album 'Fall In Love With The World' this November. Formed from the ashes of respected Australian progressive rockers Unitopia, the band sees Matt Williams, Dave Hopgood, Tim Irrgang & Mark 'Truey' Trueack joined by Guy Manning (Manning, The The Tangent), Daniel Mash (Maschine, The Tangent), & Marek Arnold. The forthcoming album also features guest appearances from Jon Anderson of Yes, as well as Steve Hackett of Genesis.

GHOST BRIGADE return to deliver a perfect lecture in dark melancholy and heart wrenching pain. "IV - One with the Storm" takes exactly those subtle steps ahead that makes the Finns sound exciting and fresh again. While their previous full-length "Until Fear No Longer Defines Us" (2011) successfully dwelled on the themes and ways established by the "Isolation Songs" (2009) masterpiece, the band understood they had to move on or fall into the trap of repetition. Sure, GHOST BRIGADE remain in essence true to the formula already established by their acclaimed debut "Guided By Fire" (2007), which amalgamates Post-Rock, Metalcore, Progressive Rock, Death and Doom Metal into a highly emotional musical experience. Yet the changes in their line-up can be felt such as new keyboard patterns by Joni Vanhanen. Adding to this, singer Manne Ikonen's hard work on his performance reveals itself remarkably in the enhanced clear vocal passages. "IV - One with the Storm" furthermore comes with a state of the art production by the band and Tuomas Kokko at Electric Fox Studios, Finland.

Always one of the most tasteful of musicians, guitarist Kenny Burrell is in fine form on this set from 1996. He is joined by a rhythm section led by pianist Sir Roland Hanna, trumpeter Jimmy Owens (who is in excellent form), either Steve Turre or Benny Powell on trombone and the underrated tenor-saxophonist and flutist Jerome Richardson. Burrell sings a heartfelt "Dear Ella" (his voice is just average) and there is a vocal apiece by Jeannie Bryson (a sensuous "I've Got A Crush On You") and Vanessa Rubin ("All Blues"). Other highlights of this relaxed bop set include Scott Joplin's "The Entertainer," Richardson's "Groove Merchant" and a medley of "Embraceable You" and Charlie Parker's "Quasimodo." (allmusic.com)

The Execution of Stepan Razin is spine-chilling with Razin’s bloody head rolling to the ground, laughing at the Tsar, and the Zoya Suite which is an orchestral abridgement of the film score from 1944 depicting the 18-year old partisan Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya fighting against the Germans.

Marcel François Paul Landowski was a French composer, biographer and arts administrator. Born at Pont-l'Abbé, Finistère, Brittany, he was the son of French sculptor Paul Landowski and great-grandson of the composer Henri Vieuxtemps. As an infant he showed early musical promise, and studied piano under Marguerite Long. He entered the Paris Conservatoire in 1935; in addition one of his teachers was Pierre Monteux.

When people use the term "singer/songwriter" (often modified by the word "sensitive") in praise or in criticism, they're thinking of James Taylor. In the early '70s, when he appeared with his introspective songs, acoustic guitar, and calm, understated singing style, he mirrored a generation's emotional exhaustion after tumultuous times.
