Since arriving on the jazz scene barely into his teens, guitarist Bireli Lagrene has continued to dazzle listeners with his formidable technique, but this solo concert finds him breaking new ground. Lagrene's ten originals show the influence of Django Reinhardt without being mere re-creations of 1930s Gypsy swing. In the brisk "R & Bi," Lagrene is simultaneously playing percussion by tapping on his instrument. The moving ballad "Capucines" and two virtuoso pieces, "Madras Express" and the miniature "To Bi or Not to Bi," are all highlights. The most unusual track is a medley of two rock songs, Queen's "We Are the Champions" and "We Will Rock You," with the 1960s pop hit "It Was a Very Good Year," a combination that works better than it sounds, even if the middle selection comes across as filler. Highly recommended.

"Oltre..L'Abisso", the new studio album , released on Monday, November 3, 2014 FOLKSTONE RECORDS and will be distributed in Italy by AUDIOGLOBE.The previous album "Il Confine" has sold more than 4,000 copies, and the output was accompanied by more than 100 live dates in Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Lithuania. This new album was recorded in various studios during the year and was produced by the same FOLKSTONE. The work has been entrusted to the known Yonatan Rukhman, while the mix and mastering were handled by Marco D'agostino at "Aisha Studio / 96 Khz.it" (Milan)

The dynamic duo of Keith Emerson and Greg Lake (two-thirds of Emerson, Lake and Palmer) went on tour in 2010. Four years later, Live From Manticore Hall captures nine intimate versions of ELP tunes, a little King Crimson, and even a Q&A. The tour would serve as a precursor to Emerson, Lake and Palmer’s 2010 High Voltage reunion in London, speculated to be the final ELP reunion.

This is a nice Jazz set that I got some years back. I have never found a copy that was tagged or had the name of the artist and song title instead of "Track 1" and so on. Most of the CDs are not in the database so I manually filled in the tags and generated the file names to include artist and title so as to make it better for everyone.
