The album was released in January. Two songs from it, "La premiere femme de ma vie" and "J'ai craque" are written by Alain Goraguer, the ex-accomplice of Serge Gainsbourg. Alain also assists Dassin in writing "Petit ballon".

Early 90s founded the guitarist Chuck Loeb, the keyboardist Mitchel Forman and drummer Wolfgang Haffner fusion formation Metro, which has since published several albums. Headed by Michael Abene, these three musicians now took on the album Big Band Boom together with the WDR Big Band and guests Nicolas Fiszman (bass) and Roland Peil (perc). The name says it all: Metro pieces in big band with funky horns and driving rhythm section!

Dreams is a studio album by Grace Slick. It was released in 1980 on RCA Records. The album features a psychedelic rock sound, with flamenco elements on "El Diablo". It was recorded in New York without any previous or current members of Jefferson Starship. Steve Price of Pablo Cruise plays drums on "Garden of Man." The album reached #32 on the Billboard charts. It also attained the number 28 position on the UK album chart.

"James Last was a German big band leader with a large fan base in Europe, although he has never had a comparable following in the United States. Last's trademark was arranging pop hits in a big-band style; his series of "party albums" is equally well-known. Over the course of his career, he has sold well over 50 million albums." James Last died on 9 June 2015 in Florida at the age of 86.

Again proving themselves the cream of Berlin's experimental underground, Monolake's Robert Henke and Gerhard Behles (the latter taking a slightly diminished role) produced a set of eight stellar tracks, some previously released on vinyl. Most of the songs on Gravity have a steady backbeat, and the second track, "Ice," hits pretty hard for something from the Chain Reaction school, despite the whispered vocals throughout. Still, Monolake focus as much on the atmospheres created by their effects as on the effects themselves, resulting in deep, shadowy productions like "Mobile," with its off-step, processed steel drums, and a return to the classic Chain Reaction sound on "Frost"…

Karyn Crisis – best known for her trademark melodic singing and growling roars as the vocalist of CRISIS (1993-2006) and EPHEL DUATH (2011-2014) – will return with a new project, KARYN CRISIS' GOSPEL OF THE WITCHES, and consequent album, Salem's Wounds, in 2015.
