World Gone Wild is a collection of all the Doro albums that were released by Universal (with bonus tracks where available). The former vocalist with Warlock has had a 20 year plus career and these albums represent some of her finest works – presented for the first time in one set this collection is a great starting point for the casual and fervent fan of this brand of Teutonic Heavy Metal. All the albums have been re-mastered and the box contains a booklet with notes by Classic Rock’s Malcolm Dome.

Third release on Ondine by the Austrian star violinist Benjamin Schmid contains fresh arrangements of well-known piano pieces by Shostakovich and Prokofiev for violin and piano. Also included is a suite transcribed from Kurt Weill's iconic ‘The Threepenny Opera'. All the three original works by the composers were written during the 1910s and 1920s.

Wim is the brainchild of Ketil Lien, one of a trio of very different sounding Norwegian artists who release through AD Music. His latest offering is ‘Enchanted Journey’, a hugely creative journey through sound and motion. The music is often dense and yet it has amazing depth and clarity. When rhythms come into play they are both clever and unfussy – yet pleasing, doing what the music requires and never detracting from the melodic substance. The music also has a dark edge to it, and while never threatening, it is captivating!
