This is Shroom Productions best release so far. HANDS were an American band, founded by members from PRISM, who were active between 1977 and 1980. They never released an album back then, but this CD is put together with material from that period. The sound quality is overall very good with a few exceptions. - Their music is a mix between medieval music and progressive rock, mostly instrumental. HANDS have strong compositions and intriguing arrangements and they're reminiscent to GENTLE GIANT, JETHRO TULL, KING CRIMSON, MIRTHRANDIR, PREMIATA FORNERIA MARCONI, and YES.

Ehh, The stage was okay, as far as that kind of metal act is concerned. After a bit it was same o same approach to each song. Which, subsequently seemed gimmicky. Quite a show. Don't really dig their music that much, but that's one hell of a stage show!! SLIPKNOT Live at Rock on the Range Festival 05.15.2015.

Banzai was along with Machiavel one of the symphonic progressive rock bands to come from Belgium in the 70's. Their only album consisted of complex 70's symphonic progressive rock as typical and traditional as it possibly can get. Main influences were clearly Yes, Genesis, Focus andsome Gentle Giant. Three of the five tracks are pure instrumentals,while "Try" and "Three Magicians" features vocals. Especially "Try" hassome convincing Yes-like vocal-harmonies. Personally I feel that"Obelisk" and "Hattrick" are the best tracks. Both have a great degree of complexity, and the melodic guitar-playing reminds a lot of Jan Akkerman.But the whole band sounded like accomplished musicians. A few passages also include some orchestration. "Hora Nata" is derivative and not very original in any way, but it's still quite solid stuff if you can't get enough of that classic 70's symphonic progressive rock sound.

Of course, "New Bag" is Christy Doran's baby. He created and presented it to the world in 1997. The Swiss guitarist and electric tinkerer has proudly presented his offspring with ever-increasing success at home and abroad since that time. Precisely because Doran has never stood still and rested on his laurels, but instead has constantly searched for new ways of expression, the band is one of the most interesting and fascinating developments in the borderland biotope between jazz, rock, ethnic and styles with African roots as well as contemporary improvised and electronic music after more than 18 years. However, since the singer Sarah Buechi, Vincent Membrez on the Moog synthesizer and Rhodes piano as well as Lionel Friedl on drums have joined him to care for the development of the lively offspring, "New Bag"…

Zaz is a French pop singer with a Gypsy jazz style who made her chart-topping eponymous album debut in 2010. Born Isabelle Geffroy on May 1, 1980, in Tours, Indre-et-Loire, France, she performed as a singer for much of her life. Her vocals are often compared to those of Edith Piaf. Zaz In association with the Play On label, she made her full-length solo debut with the self-titled album Zaz in 2010. Featuring a few songs written and produced by Raphaël, the album was well-received by critics and spawned the hit single "Je Veux." As positive word-of-mouth spread, Zaz steadily rose to the top of the French albums chart, hitting number one in its sixth week of release, and the album eventually went double platinum in France.
