Cantando Histórias is a Latin Grammy winning album by Ivan Lins. It is the first and only Brazilian and Portuguese language album to win the Latin Grammy for Album of the Year to date.

Cannabis Corpse are more than just a stoned love letter to Cannibal Corpse and much of metal at large. What may seem like a joke band to outsiders and rudimentary listeners is…well, still a really damn amusing band. But one that still deserves to be taken seriously beyond their copious name altercations and love letters that the band drives in ala blunt force. Their latest offering From Wisdom to Baked (a reference to tech-death masters Gorguts album From Wisdom to Hate) is a fuzzy, dizzying thirty-six minute trip of snazzy stoner death metal.

The Romantic Piano Concerto series reaches 62 and makes an interesting (although temporary) departure: these four works are for pedal piano (a piano which includes a separate keyboard for the feet, to be played rather in the manner of an organ). Gounod was inspired by the talent of the young and apparently very attractive Lucie Palicot (born circa 1860) whom he heard performing Alkan’s music for pedal piano in 1882. Gounod is far better known for his operatic and liturgical compositions: these works show a different side to this nineteenth-century luminary….

MaterDea are a six piece Female Fronted band haling from Torino in Italy who describe their music as a fusion of Elvish Rock and Pagan Rhymes. The band were formed in 2008 and released their third album entitled 'A Rose For Egeria' in February 2014.

Lost World is the name of a Russian Progressive rock band, founded in the year 1990 by Andrii Didorenko (guitar, bass & violin), Vassily Soloviev (flute & drums) and Alex Akimov (keyboards & programming), who were music college students at that time. The third album "Sound Source" (2009) continues to showcase dynamic chamber music, mixing classical and rock influences, with a strong musical identity above all. These sixteen concise instrumental tracks reveal impressive technical skills, linked with a huge musical culture.
