This wonderful studio date by the talented Catalonian blind pianist Tete Montoliu (1933-1997) was recorded in his native Barcelona in March of 1992, but until now it had been only available on a long out of print CD issued in Japan by the Alfa Jazz label shortly after being recorded. The renowned VENUS label presents it back again for everyone to enjoy. Tete is backed by New Orleans drummer Idris Muhammad, and Netherlands born bassist Hein Van de Geyn, and the program features a selection of Catalan traditional songs, plus two versions of songs by the remarkable Joan Manuel Serrat.

One discovered Aviva, aka Dmitri Loukanienko, with an excellent first opus published on Musea in the year 2007. Following the good press earned by "Rokus Tonalis", the Russian keyboardist from Nijni-Novgorod logically decided to go one step beyond, in establishing a band. And Aviva Omnibus was born. Included are two guitarists, a bassist-drummer and a second keyboards player (Who also plays violin) helping the Master of Ceremony. As the name indicates, "Nutcracker In Fury" creates a sort of musical fantasy, rearranging, twisting and paying tribute to Tschaikovsky's "Nutcracker", still based on Offenbach's "The Tales Of Hoffmann"…

… During a rock contest in 1974 ('Rocksound 74') Satin Whale was elected the most popular German band. For the second release 'Lost Mankind' 1975 new drummer Wolfgang Hieronymi joined and the band changed to the 'Teldec' label, continuing musically in the same direction as their first record, with 'Jethro Tull' inspired flute-work. The band then went on tour as a support act for 'Barclay James Harvest'. This had a direct influence on their music and their third record 'As A Keepsake' was inspired by BJH, less rock and more symphonic influenced pop. …

Incognito founder Bluey, presents his alter ego - eight-piece band CITRUS SUN featuring guitarist Jim Mullen and key members of the Incognito line-up, together with vocalist Valerie Etienne. Citrus Sun is a project born of Bluey's love for the guitar playing of Jim Mullen, who in a 40-year career has played with the likes of Brian Auger, Average White Band, Jimmy Witherspoon and his own pioneering jazz-funk band Morrissey-Mullen.
