Ufo is one of the greatest and most influential hard rock bands of all time. Their output from 1972-1983 was impressive and important. At this point they were about ready to take a break. And this was the last of the great period for them until michael schenker returned in 1995 and "walk on water" came out. Every release since then has been excellent as well. But "making contact" was at the end of the first great period. There are some classic tracks mixed with some good tracks. This doesn't really have really weak songs on it unlike the next three studio releases: "misdemeanor", the ep 'ain't misbehavin" and 'high stakes and dangerous men" which had some good songs on them but no real classics like 'diesel in the dust" or 'when it's time to rock" or 'blinded by a lie" which are on this cd.

This song ("Done Me Wrong All Right") was included as an extra track on the 1991 BMG Music CD reissue. It is also the first bonus track on the CD reissue released on January 24th, 2005. It reached number 1 in Finland.

Black Metal | Label : Zero Dimensional Records

Heralding the fateful, inescapable age of imperial darkness, SATANIC WARMASTER, the tyrant of Finnish Black Metal, proclaims an exclusive Zero Dimensional CD release of the trinity of 7-inch curses "Ondskapens Makt/Forgotten Graves", "Winter's Hunger/Torches" and "In Eternal Fire/Ghost Wolves" now bound together under the title “Luciferian Torches”, entwined with unreleased material from the same sessions. These noble, yet unholy laments present SATANIC WARMASTER at his rawest and most impulsive, yet with elegiac melodies summoning forth memories of the past unknown existences of his master, and the conjured demons, captured with a tape recorder according to the ritual tradition of ancient Black Metal. No luxury, but sorrow - no posture, but essence

    Finland | MP3 CBR 320 Kbps | 119 MB
Black Metal | Label : Werewolf Records

For a band that remains submerged in the Finnish black metal underground, Satanic Warmaster has steadily become a surprisingly widespread cult phenomenon. The four years that have passed since Nachzehrer have been filled with singles and a live album, as the band’s growing popularity has foreshadowed a grand return of the barbarian wolves. With this in mind, one could easily have expected Fimbulwinter to arrive with resounding hype, yet project mastermind Werwolf has opted for a low-key release on his own Werewolf Records. Fimbulwinter immediately separates itself from the bulk of the Warmaster-discography with its markedly improved production values. The signature tin-can sound is scrapped in favor of a fuller mix, making for a significant departure from the raw atmospheres of Nachzehrer and especially Opferblut. Obviously we’re not talking about Satyricon-levels of slickness though, and despite the somewhat blunted sound, the furious drums and simple yet effective riffs all scream Satanic Warmaster. None of the songs here dip below the 5-minute mark, and consequently the punk rock approach has been toned down in favor of more varied compositions.

This compilation of music by one of Canada's most important singers is presented in approximate chronological order, beginning in 1980 with Remember. The first Bryan Adams song that I became familiar with is Straight from the heart, which became his first top ten hit in America. It wasn't a hit for him in Britain but Bonnie Tyler covered it for her album, Faster than the speed of night. A hugely successful album that spawned a British and American number one hit, Total eclipse of the heart, it surely can't have harmed Bryan's career to have a cover of one of his songs on such a successful album, even though his name among the credits may not have meant anything to many Brits who bought the album at the time.

Prudence was one the most important bands on the Norwegian prog scene in the 1970s, a scene that included the likes of Aunt Mary, Junipher Greene, Titanic, Popol Vuh (Ace), Ruphus, Folque and Høst. They fused rock with old party/dance music from Trøndelag and (on their last album) sang in their local dialect, thereby creating a rock style dubbed Trønderrock. The band signed with Polydor and released their first LP 'Tomorrow May Be Vanished', cryptically subtitled 'Victoria Så bærre pass dæ!' (Victoria so just watch out!) in 1972. The album received great reviews, in which the band was compared to greats as Jethro Tull and The Band…

An excellent compilation album, Old Land is comprised of tracks from Cluster and Eno's two major collaborations: Cluster and Eno (1977) and After the Heat (1978). All of Eno's vocal tracks are here: "The Belldog," "Tzima N'arki," and the dark, industrial "Broken Head." On "The Belldog," Eno's voice never sounded better, and the quirky "Tzima N'arki" brings to mind Lennon's experiments on "Tomorrow Never Knows" (Revolver). Eno's backward vocal track sounds like a surreal or foreign language. When coupled with layers of backward instrumental tracks, the music takes on a rather creepy quality.

Hailing from the Midlands, THE MIGHTY LEMON DROPS emerged in the mid-1980s as one of the most exciting Indie Rock bands of their time. After their Indie hit debut single, ‘Like An Angel’ on Dan Treacy’s Dreamworld label, they signed to Chrysalis’ imprint Blue Guitar and then Sire, releasing six studio albums before disbanding in 1992. Uptight offers a unique insight into the band’s roots.

NYC’s boundary patrolling Bossa Nova regular and Chinatown resident Max McFerren returns to 1080p with his distinctly goofed out euphoria and hybrid techno on the "Lawd Forgive Me".
Skewing his stylistic vehicle of steady floor/four techno with childlike glee, synth squiggles, big bass and wonky house signifiers, MCFERRDOG seeks precious moments in adult experience and hyper sincere emotive peaks, utilizing the familiar and nostalgic in dance music for a super confident hour-long release split between peaks and ultra-pretty melodic spaces between.
