It would be easy to call The Winery Dogs a supergroup: Vocalist and guitarist Richie Kotzen made his mark with Poison and Mr. Big, bassist Billy Sheehan has been rocking for decades with Steve Vai, David Lee Roth, Mr. Big and others, and drummer Mike Portnoy was the co-founder of progressive metal superstars Dream Theater. But The Winery Dogs are so much more than a supergroup. The proof is in the brew: The Winery Dogs is an eclectic, fully realized group with songs that groove and swing without sacrificing any of the grit that makes great hard rock so inspiring.

"Tightly Unwound" is the seventh studio album by The Pineapple Thief, and their first album released by Kscope, since all previous Pineapple Thief releases were published by Cyclops Records. The album eventually reached number three in "Prog Archives' Members Albums of the Year" chart.

Sited in the middle of this bustling, energetic and atmospheric city is the ancient setting of the magnificent Palais Baldi. Le Bal Du Rat Mort (The Dead Rat's Ball) is released in December 1971 and 2000 copies are sold. This release did not exhibit the true face of the band, but it did however show their talent as musicians and as composers and ability to combine different influences. This album is a mixture of rock, free-jazz, fusion, folk, oldies tunes, chanson Francaise and a general theatrical and quirky approach to composing. The overall result is a well-done mixture of styles and atmospheres. This may not be groundbreaking but it is different than the average output of French bands at that time and can be seen as avant-garde in their musical approach in this album.

Atomic Rooster experienced several lineup changes during their initial tenure in the early '70s, with Nice 'n' Greasy being the band's last before disbanding. By this time the band's musical direction had shifted from hard rock and progressive rock to a style more closely resembling blues/funk…

Originally recorded in 2003 to be the immediate follow-up to "Through the Storm". For whatever reason, "Army of One" wasn't released until 2006 in Japan and then finally in the U.S. in 2007. By the time the album saw the light of day, long time vocalist Mike DiMeo had left the band to join Masterplan. As might be expected, the music on "Army of One" is a continuation of the style to "Through the Storm".
