"Everyday Demons" is the second studio album by Irish rock band The Answer. Classifying "Everyday Demons" as classic rock can be a blessing or a curse, depending on how one looks at it. Is it a style of music beloved by the throngs that continue to swear by their local FM station or is it dated music played by dinosaurs? The silliness and basic irrelevance of the latter seems obvious, while the answer to the former should be universally understood. Regardless, the description is necessary to give the majority of readers a point of reference. Let's face it, it is impossible to reference bands like BAD COMPANY, LED ZEPPELIN, and even THE BLACK CROWES (all bands that share some similarities with THE ANSWER) and not think "classic rock".

US neo-progressive rock band World Trade finally followed-up their impressive 1989 self-titled debut in 1995 with Euphoria. At this point the band featured bassist/vocalist Billy Sherwood (who had briefly been a part of Yes) as well as guitarists Bruce Gowdy (ex-Unruly Child) and Jay Schellen (ex-Hurricane). World Trade's core sound remains unchanged from the debut. It's more or less a mellow progressive rock sound based on the later Yes style, with tranquil guitar melodies and Sherwood's high, Jon Anderson-style vocals.

In 2006 AOR released a new CD called « L.A Attraction » once again featuring the talents of many great AOR / Westcoast stars including Philip Bardowell (The Beach Boys, Places Of Power), Steve Lukather (Toto), Tommy Denander, Dane Donohue, Michael Landau, Peter Friestedt or Rick Riso among others. This time, AOR developed a slightly different musical approach and moved into a more rock-oriented direction: « L.A Attraction » sounded like a mix between Toto, Radioactive and Richard Marx and was a real feast for all AOR and melodic rock aficionados!

“In Performance at the White House: Red, White and Blues” is a PBS special taped in the East Room of the White House celebrating Blues music. President and Mrs. Obama will host the concert event in recognition of Black History Month. The evening will include program host Taraji P. Henson and performances by Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, Jeff Beck, Gary Clark, Jr., Shemekia Copeland, Buddy Guy, Warren Haynes, Mick Jagger, B.B. King, Keb Mo, Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks, with Booker T. Jones as music director and band leader.

Finisterra Rock Opera is an album of Mago Oz group in which rewrote the album Finisterra to mark the 15th anniversary of the launch. In this rewriting they involved more than twenty artists. These include the presence of the soprano Pilar Jurado, who already contributed to the recording of the last album Ilussia.
