Originally released in 1985, Brave the Storm was the second album from British melodic rockers Shy. The band, which featured powerhouse vocalist Tony Mills (now with TNT), was a latecomer to the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) scene, and with their accessible melodic hard rock style they straddled the line between metal and arena rock.

Two years after the monumentally massive splendour of The Phantom Agony (2003), Epica released their majestic successor Consign to Oblivion. On this album, inspired by the Mayan culture, the group around mezzo-soprano Simone Simons and guitarist Mark Jansen broke new ground. Sir András Schiff born 21 December 1953 is a Hungarian-born British classical pianist and conductor, who has received numerous major awards and honors, including the Grammy Award, Gramophone Award, Mozart Medal, and Royal Academy of Music Bach Prize, and was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in her 2014 Birthday Honours for services to music.
