"Spirits Having Flown" is the fifteenth album released by the Bee Gees. It was the group's first album after their collaboration on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. The album's first three tracks were released as singles and all reached No. 1 in the US, giving the Bee Gees an unbroken run of six US chart-toppers and tying a record set by The Beatles. It was the first Bee Gees album to make the UK top 40 in ten years (not counting the soundtrack for Saturday Night Fever), as well as being their first and only UK No. 1 album. It has sold 20 million copies worldwide.

12 years after saxophonist and composer Kirk Whalum issued the first The Gospel According to Jazz recording comes its third chapter. Recorded live at Reid Temple in Glenn Dale, MD, the set contains a stellar backing band that includes Reginald Veal on upright bass, organist Jerry Peters, percussionist Lenny Castro, trumpeter Aaron Broadus, and additional horns, vocals, and backing vocals. As is customary for these recordings, there are also a number of special guests including George Duke, Lalah Hathaway, Doc Powell, John Stoddart, and a slew of family members including sons, uncles, cousins, and nephews.

Debut album by German AOR act. Absolutely brilliant album!!! Fantastic guitar riffs, a great singer, melodic sing-a-long choruses and a very good production. The sound is somethin' between Jaded Heart (Bormann era) / Treat (M. Leven) and a dose of some U.S. heavy rock bands.

German band Casanova released their sophomore record "One Night Stand" in 1992. As far as melodic rock bands go, Casanova is absolutely top of the line. They had a sound more conducive to the party rock scene of the late 80's, than to the angst and pain of the early 90's rock scene.
