Formed by three original members of DIO including Def Leppard’s Vivian Campbell (guitar) Vinny Appice (drums) and Jimmy Bain (bass) and named after DIO’s 1984 studio album “The Last In Line”, the new band are on a mission to bring classic Hard Rock to fans who can’t get enough of the real thing.
DJ Koze is a big figure in electronic music, but he also appears to be its benevolent godfather. This compilation of tunes from his label Pampa runs the gamut of sounds, but always stays jubilant.

The third album of Merzy contain 16 songs (Japan press + 3 bonus tracks) and published in 1995 on Iceberg Records and co-released by BMG Records in Europe, and this gave them the opportunity to tour as support act for bands like Deep Purple and ZZ Top on the German part of their world tour. These guys are very talented, but try to cover too many genres. At one point they sound like Whitesnake, then ZZ Top and Van Halen. The ballads "Nowhere To Run" and "Standing In The Shadows" are superb.
Only three years after the release of his first magnum opus 13 Views of the Heart’s Cargo, Hayden Chisholm returns with another formidable collection of his music in the form of a 13CD set entitled Cusp of Oblivion. The recordings in this collection feature more than 50 outstanding musicians from the European jazz and improvised music scene and encompass works of Chisholm’s recorded mainly in 2015.

One can always count on Ed Palermo and his Big Band to pop up every couple of years with another sizzling set of Frank Zappa inspired jazz, and he's done that yet again here in early 2016 with his latest Cuneiform Records release One Child Left Behind. Featuring 17 tracks, 9 of which are Zappa recreations, along with some Palermo originals and other covers, One Child Left Behind is a dazzling display of musical artistry from this large outfit, which for the album consists of seventeen musicians.
